Re: Knight - classic teams
For the Braves Luis Aparicio's stance is almost perfect for David Justice. Awesome job Knight!
EDIT: The bat positioning is dead on but the feet are not correct. I'll keep looking.Last edited by Bamafan3723; 06-05-2009, 07:10 PM."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Re: Knight - classic teams
Joey....those powder blue Royals pics are great! Thanks!
Lining up the next team tonight.....I think maybe the '85 Cards.
Are we going with the '97 Rox and the '97 Marlins(instead of '01)?

Re: Knight - classic teams
I honestly think that the best way to go for the Rays is to pick one of the old Devil Ray teams and go with them. That way it gives people a reason to use the old Devil Ray uniforms. I know the teams were horrible but I am sure there are a few fans of those old teams that would like to play as a few of their old players.BCS Express - TCU (yr 1 12-1)(yr 2 10-2)

Re: Knight - classic teams
Okay fellas.
Gotta work tomorrow and Sunday....so the next update may be Sunday night or Monday.
Here is the file with the '85 Cardinals added.
They don't hit many homers, but if just about anyone except Jack Clark gets on base....it will drive you nuts as that little White Rat will eventually send them....to to bottom.
Tudor had a fantastic year....and you gotta hate any team with that Tommy Herr on them(ESPECIALLY an '85 team...ARRRRGGHH...the Mets downfall that year!)...

Have fun...let me know what you think!
Thanks!

Knight165And I still hate Whitey to this day for forcing Ted Simmons out...a-hole.
Thanks again Knight, a great job as always. Keep em coming, I'm thinking two seasons are in order. One as stock, and one with a fantasy draft!Steam: BahnzoComment

Great work on the Cards! Too bad you can't edit the managers. Would be cool to have the White Rat in the game (man I absolutely detested that guy!).
This is going to be a fun team! LOTS of speed will give other teams headaches (let those rabbits run!)
Great work on Tudor and Andujar!
Again, just a few batting stance suggestions:
Jack Clark - Luis Aparicio (upright, closed, bat waggle - not perfect, but the closest I could find) - also gave him eye black and batting gloves
Andy Van Slyke - Greg Norton
Willie McGee - Joey Cora
Terry Pendleton - Felix Pie (open stance, slight crouch, hands high)
How about the '89 Giants or '86 Astros next?Last edited by ledfut; 06-06-2009, 05:31 PM.Comment

Re: Knight - classic teams
Thanks for the Cards, Knight. When I was looking at the rest of the planned teams yesterday the Cards, Giants and Cubs (& Indians to a slightly lesser extent) stood out in my mind as the teams I'd like to see most. I haven't checked their throwback uni's but I hope they have the light blue one's. I won't be able to check these out until tonight, but I plan on getting some gaming in later. I'll check out those stances ledfut suggested, as well. Once again, good stuff. Keep it coming! (you too, ledfut)Comment

Re: Knight - classic teams
Was experimenting with some of the '85 Cardinals and discovered a couple more stances/deliveries:
Terry Pendleton - I am now using Freddy Sanchez (much happier with the bat position than with Felix Pie stance)
John Tudor - tried John Maine almost by accident and it is close to perfect! It has the high leg kick, the low 3/4 arm slot and across the body motion. Even the follow through looks right. As much as I hated the Cardinals, I loved watching Tudor pitch. I am almost as picky with his delivery in this game as I am with Keith Hernandez's batting stance. Trust me, this is a good one!Comment
