Okay.

A couple of things.

First...I will go through the last dozen pages or so and get those requests(like Lo)...in. I PM'ed a couple of guys directly....and forgot what players those were....so to those guys...please PM me and tell me you got that(so I don't do dupe work on them). Thanks.

Next...as long as Wake doesn't mind....I want to take the update he did and use that for a post trade deadline/end of season set....with the teams updated with my own ratings to reflect the season.
I'm still heavy into the Classic set I'm doing....so it won't be out "soon".....but it will be the perfect way for you to "get back in the game" as a playoff/season ender set.

and to all of you who have a problem with me "discussing" the rosters in the appointed "discussion" thread, if you dont like what i think, thats fine keep it to urself but dont waste pages telling me, his update woulda been fine but he had to try to edit players, so therefore IMO he tried to do too much, so now knight feels he needs to come back and fix his hijacked roster file bcuz the ratings were all screwed up. Again this is my opinion if you have that much of an issue with me discussing knights rosters, in knights roster thread then pm me, we dont need ur mailman hating spam cluttering the discussion up, i stated facts u all are just wasting space with your posts.. i was just giving everyone a heads up b4 they downloaded it. and btw your pms will be ignored and deleted without reading, thanks.

This is hypocritical - by this logic, if you didn't like the rosters then you should've kept it to yourself...but that didn't happen, did it?

Where were your suggestions? I didn't see any posts on possible CAPs, rating adjustments, transactions, etc. that you made. In fact, the first time I see your name pop up is when you decide to throw stones.

People were asking for the roster I assembled (the first being DodgerFanatic) so I obliged. Nowhere did I say it was the best and I explained what the roster consisted of so there were no surprises...I used Knight's roster as a base, gave him credit and made it how I like it to fit this year's season.

I'm not sure if you actually watch baseball but the stats and ratings each player received was fairly justified. Josh Hamilton is hitting .220 w/7 HRs on the year; Joey Votto is hitting .330 w/17 HRs; Pablo Sandoval is hitting .330 w/17 HRs; Ben Zobrist is an all-star hitting .295 w/19 HRs...

I didn't go overboard but I gave the ratings to players based on their performance over the course of the season and to make sure each player is hitting in the right spot in the lineup in franchise mode.

i dont know if anyone has ever looked at this site but, www.minorleaguesplits.com is a great site for minor league hitters because it is the only site i know of that posts LH/RH splits for minor league batters. Its also free. excpet the search engine is weird just search the first 2 or so letters of the first and last name otherwise you'll get nothing. it explains it. anyway, i think i remember someone on here posting this a long time ago. anyway it doesnt have RBI's but if you combing this and www.baseball-reference.com you'll get every stat you need.

EDIT: scratch that, just realized that MILB.com has splits. thats weird i dont remeber them or MLB.com having LH/RH splits.?????

that would be great except for the fact that they still wouldn't be able to put in the MILB players, but i wonder why no game ever can get the licensing for them. It seems simple enough(although i know it isnt). and why dont they just make the player names the same initials as the one they are based off of. for example: Pedro Alvarez would be like Perry Allen, or something. That would make it a lot easier for people like Knight and Ridin. although i suppose they dont use them anyway b/c of potential, but if they did that and made potential editable, then it would be days less work for them. C'mon SCEA.

and BTW- G. Jones, and of course Cutch(R.O.Y) are so off in the SCEA update. and its not just because im a pirate fan, but it is so unfair the way they rate the players. Jason bay was like 60-70 on pow/contact on '08, and the day he was traded to boston, they jacked his ratings up to about 90+ pow/con. That isn't coincidence!!!

hey UNC, rosters are pretty good, but one suggestion, umm garret jones, you have his power correct, maybe a little too high, but he isnt any average hitter. I'd say his contact should be like RH-55, LH-50 or 60/55 max. and also craig monroe is long gone from the buccos. he was released a while ago i think. thanks for listening

Yes(no stat glitch).....and it will be worked on.....on a non-patched machine.

Oh....and I already have gotten one PM suggesting that I don't edit the faces in order to save time.
Sorry...not happening.
I couldn't stomach looking at these guys knowing that it is "not him" now that we have the face editor.(yes...I know I'm nuts)
Yes...it's going to add time to the process....but honestly....it's about 10 minutes a player....an extra two days work total.
I'm sorry...I just have to have it that way.

yah man all this license bull (i'll use crap) gets on my nerves there is so much money out there they dont want to pay those minor leaguers for having their names in the game, yet you make the player look like him play like him then change his name LOL too funny...and yah that whole small market hose we get i know what you mean about the jason bay thing...is that his normal pirate numbers wouldnt fit it with roided up poppi's 90s and ellsbury who is juiced in this game im like woahh he fast but thats about all LOL what you gonna do i think only Freddy got love from the original SCEA rosters what a shame to us poor team fans no love lol
