I, too, am most excited about the newest version of the Lineup Fix rosters with Strut's equipment edits. I think that's the set that will really be the bomb-diggity.

Much sooner....as a matter of fact..I just asked strut if he could do the update to that file (v2...which is what v3 will be off of) ....and if he can..I will add the final changes and get it out A.S.A.P.
(seems like this is going to be the file now)

I'll still do the stock the same way regardless...

I will update v2(lineup fix) with struts updates fix some minor league requests and get that out(this will be the final version of the lineup fix set)

OK now I'm confused ...Will the updated v2 with struts updates also have RAZRr's updated pitch edits because you didn't make mention of it

Is RAZRr only doing his newest pitch updates for the Stock SCEA position players set ??

Once strut updates the stances.....I just need a couple of additions and I'll have to duplicate Razr's edits(he's doing it to the stock position players set...we anticipated a little better fix from the patch)
....I'll release it with and without the stamina edits.

I already thought about doing it.....
1. It would take a VERY long time(even for me and I have 2 PS3's that I use side by side with PiP and simply copy the ratings from one to the other)
2. The later rosters do not have enough editable players and correct potential players to cover the Full Minors. You would wind up with a ton of dev players and scrap heap FA's(that no team has signed)

So is there an ETA on struts edits? I don't think I'm going to wait for Razr, but I'd like the updated stances, equipment, etc.

Also, which file will strut being going off of? v2 or v3?

Strut has already completed one off v3(stock) which has the position players back to default SCEA ratings. I actually need to put that one up for you guys. I'm adding the pitchers back to default now(just need a couple of days)

He is now doing his update to v2(lineup fix) and when he gets that back to me...I have to simply add some fixes...a few changes and that one is ready.

Razr is working on the same file right now(v2 w/struts updates) with some other pitch corrections....When he is done, I will apply the same fixes and get that out.

Razr will then put the stamina edits to a version of that file also(so you will have one with and on without)..

...and GOOD news!...I have tracked down a copy of my Full Minors BASE that is PRE- stat glitch......so when all of the above is done...I will copy over my Full Minors to that set and release it. I won't do the faces over(to save time ....I will eventually do the faces)....so those that want(read NEED) those historical stats correct AND total full real minor leaguers......there will be a set for you! (this make me happy as I truly thought there was a chance the patch would fix my set)

There is where we stand....as soon as Razr gets the file back to me...I need one day for my corrections and it will be out. My guess....Saturday(I may be pressuring strut here though, I don't know how busy he is and he's really saving me a ton of time by doing this).

The only thing I need is someone to do equipment updates....any takers? (I believe strut did Pitt and Ari)

That IS good news if it works out like that!

Things are looking good on the roster front all around (I guess Ridin and Wookie are teaming to update a glitch free set as well). Now if I could just get some confirmation from our SCEA boys that it's safe to move forward on a new franchise, I'm set...lol.

I can't recall being this jumpy about starting to dive deeper into a game! What a roller coaster 09 has been so far!

Quick question about how these rosters relate to RTTS and the default rosters:

On average, are the players in v2 rated higher than the players on the default roster? Obviously there is a difference between them because the default roster has fake minor leaguers versus Knight adding real players to all the minor league teams, but if you were take an utterly average player at any given level (AA, AAA, MLB) off of knight & co's v2 rosters, and compare them to an utterly average player on the game's default rosters, would there be a difference in their ratings?

I ask because I'm finding in my RTTS that it's taking forever to make a dent in my organization's depth chart as a starting pitcher. Like 3/4 of a year in and I'm still in AA and just now rated as the 17th best pitcher out of 18 starting pitchers in the org (Oakland) and something like 6th or 7th from the bottom overall. Heck, I'm still the 5th starter in the rotation even though I'm 11-0 with an ERA well below 1.00.

Having not made it this far into a season with a starter before, I'm not sure if this is something that is normal or if I'm going to have to live with a longer development curve if I use Knight's rosters.

"Soon" would probably be the best answer at this point. I don't think Kinght has a formal ETA as of now.

My understanding is that they were focusing on the "stock" set under the hope that SCEA could fix the issue with older rosters. Now that's not the case, so it seems as though they are shifting focuses a tad in order to compensate. I'm sure he'll (they'll) be as quick as possible.
