Any better ETA on v5 than "weekend?" I'm not trying to be that guy or anything, but the patch managed to kill all 4 of the franchises I had going (2 in 09 and 2 in 2012) so I'm kind of anxious to get restarted.

Will v5 have your attribute edits (like v2)? Because that set was the most realistic I've ever seen.

Also, should I download the patch when using v5?

          Thanks again!!

Version 2 only had attribute edits to get the lineups to stick. They were NOT lineup edits to reflect real life.

Knight did an awesome job on them and kept the edits he made for the lineups at a minimum so the guys in the game still play like their real life couterparts for the most part.

Just know that those edits weren't made to make it more "realistic" though.

Knight, you may already know this but just a heads up that the Brewers and Pirates batting order was pretty out of whack.

This is what the Brewers have been doing most the year:

            1- R. Weeks
            2- C. Hart
            3- R. Braun
            4- P. Fielder
            5- M. Cameron
            6- J. Hardy
            7- B. Hall
            8- J. Kendall
            9- Pitcher spot

Now, with Hardys major struggles he has been moved from 5 to 6 and he may even be moving to 7.

I just went to the Pirates/Brewer game on Monday and noticed that the Pirates order in your set had Nyjer Morgan like 7th or 8th when he should be leading off I believe.

Sorry but you not having a problem isn't...the problem. SCEA paying the huge fees for a server to host all these 500mb rosters would be the problem...

Could not agree more. After putting the game down for awhile, due to the circus that was this week. I finally took the time to look at the v2 roster. Extremely happy. The only is, Knight has Tyler Flowers as a "C". C-Mon KNIGHT !! Forgiven. Can't wait until v5 is released.

Aren't those 2 the same thing? He adjusted the attributes to make the game lineups reflect the real life position of the players. No?

I have simmed alot with v2 in the last couple days, and to me, stats are as close to SIM as you can get. Nothing is ever going to perfect, millions of variables, math stuff. Although I will say that when players bat out of SIM position in the game they're stats are wrong a good amount of season's simmed. So yeah, linuep fix rosters work better IMO.

Yeah I hadn't planned on using a roster with a lineup fix before, but will now when the new one comes out. Can't wait!

                        I am still debating this...

I prefer the stock attributes for hitters, but more and more people seem to like Knight's "fixed" lineups better. Are the stats that close to life? As in, is it the best of both worlds? Real stats with no lineup glitch?

Does anyone know if Knight, Strut or anyone else is going to be including equipment changes to versions 3-5? Thanks.

I don't believe so. I read, however that Ridin will be making equipment changes when he releases his new roster.

v4-STOCK ratings for position players/full minors/Razr's pitch updates(and updated again)/AAA and AA lineups/Strut's stances and motions update/some minor fixes to minor leaguers

                              v5-lineup fix/full minors(everything set)/Razr's update(both)/Struts stances and motions update/remaining additions/changes/corrections to minor leaguers

                              Is that what you're asking?

I'd tell you yes, but after reading your sig...I realize that it's an exercise in futility.
