If you do it before....you can drop anyone from the 40 man at that ROSTER CONTROL screen(the one you MANAGE ROSTERS from...I'm not capitalizing to scream.....when I do that it usually means a game screen or feature name)
....however...there are no editable players on that FA list.....so I would start a franchise and then move them.

Sign the no name, and replace him with some one on the 40 man roster that should be there and then send his *** to AA

thats wha i plan on doing when i get home.

I'm at work right now and can't wait to check them out when I get out around 1 a.m.

Now, did I read the sticky correctly. Within 24 hours of this release Knight is turning around and delivering an update with minor league lineups correctly configured? Wow!

Thank you!!! Makes sense suddenly!!! I will figure out the best option as I usually don't turn on roster control for cpu teams and that would make moving them post-franchise start impossible (at least I think)...

PM'd you Knight about some Cubs lineup changes if you want to incorporate them for V2.

I'm on the roster vault right now. The file OS FMv1 gives me the message "sorry, the roster you tried to download is not valid" when I try it. There's a file FullMinorsv1 with a note giving props to Razr and others that does download.

What gives? Is FullMinorsv1 the set Knights did?

Edit: OK, if I understand the conversion on the previous page(s) correctly, FullMinorsv1 is what I'm looking for. I may just use the flash drive to be safe.

so we're definately going to have to move all the injured stars up from the minors huh

just started a season with the rosters as they are and simmed past spring training and started my first game thinking the teams might bring the players up. But i guess like someone said in the other thread the CPU team won't bring them up no matter who they are

They will...but only if one of these things happen.

...and injury to the team(so in the Yankees case, if Ransom, or another IF gets hurt...then A-Rod will come up)
.....a trade(the rosters will then get a "look and shuffle" from the CPU
.....really poor play some time into the season by a player and he gets sent down.

I haven't read anything about that. I have read where he's said that he isn't going to mess with the Minor League lineups, though. From what I know there's no possible way that you can get the Minor League lineups correct. To get them correct, you would have to assign incorrect attributes to the Minor League players.

I don't want you guys getting the wrong idea...
What I will do is SET the lineups for the AAA and AA(as close as possible if I have the correct players) in the roster control area of the CPU ROSTER CONTROL section according to the lineups the minor league teams have been using.

This is for when(total confidence in my boys in S.D.) the patch comes ...you won't have to go and do it yourselves.

I won't be editing the ratings like for the MLB....

...and I'll get cracking A.S.A.P. on the stock set(for you Millenium!)
