just to get this right v5 is on the roster vault?
and v6 is on the the sticky thread by millenium?
whats the difference between v5 and v6?

They are both in the vault.

One is OSFullMinors...the other is OSFullMinorsv5

the first one is default ratings from SCEA for the MLB players.
The second has the lineup fix and Razrs pitch updates(awesome)
Both have Strut's stances/motions update and both have the FullMinors.

Shady...yes...there lineups were indeed tweaked to better represent the MLB lineups in v5...you're right...I forgot.

I will be making a v5 that is non patch game compatible.

How up to date is V5?

I was under the impression that it was opening day, but there are def. roster moves in there that are past opening day, but its not up to today's date.

Thanks for all the hard work Knight, it's really appreciated. I might wait for V4, but going to take a look at 5 for sure right now.

Question though, I noticed that you're from Baltimore also. I was wondering how you were going to rate the O's for your personal set. For my set, I up Adam Jones (horribly underrated), Downgrade Guthrie, upgrade Uehara (to make him better than Guthrie, I really believe he is). I also give Hendrickson a huge downgrade, as well as some of our bullpen. Sherrill got a very slight downgrade, just isn't getting the job done this year. And Markakis's arm strength is really underrated. As well as Andino, hitting/fielding/ and esp arm strength. Iztarus's arm is underrated too. Plus a couple other small things here or there. Just some thoughts. Was curious to hear how you make the O's more accurate.

should I use carew's slider suggestions for stamina in the meantime? has anyone tested these?

or should i wait...will the stamina edits be included in your personal set w/ tweaks being released this weekend?

I and chicubsfan and of course RC himself can vouch for them.

Was Nick Adenhart removed from the 4/13 SCEA roster update or was he still there? His deletion might be cause of the historical stat glitch if he was still here in he 4/13 update but not the 4/20 one. Just brain storming while the weather pisses all over my yard...

Quick question. How do you assign your ratings for minor leaguers. Do you base it on an evaluation of their minor league numbers or do you use the "major league equivalency" for each level.

I've been using the latest set (v5) and I've noticed the stamina seems way down on the starting pitchers. I can barely get out of the 5th inning and 80 pitches before they are completely tired. Anyone else noticing this, and is this as intended?

Not major league equivalents.
I go mainly off minor league numbers, but with only two levels in the game...and some of these guys in not even Single A but Low or Rookie, I have to try and take into account that...how quickly a guy might be moving through the organization.....a guy that is basically stuck in a level(who very well might be a career minor leaguer) PLUS I take into account the scouting reports to try and forecast a little.
I did try MLE last year...and the results in my test games were atrocious. I scrapped it almost immediately.
There probably is some way to plug MLE in....but after creating thousands of players over the last several years...I've become so comfortable with my own....that I doubt I would give it a fair shot.
Maybe if SCEA throws in a Single A level in the future...but for now...not worth it IMO.

Stamina edits weren't done and even they wouldn't do that so i have no idea.
