Re: Knights End of Season Set
Hey guys....
Been at (someplace other than home) for the last couple of days.
I brought my PS3 and laptop, but it's been busy.
I'm getting some work in though!
jgobler;
You probably downloaded the set that Wake updated.....the Opening Day set that I actually put out had all the Met regulars starting as per Opening Day.
Sounds like you downloaded the updated set that has all the injured Met players in the minors.(no way to DL players)
You would have to set the rosters and lineups on the base set before you start a franchise and you'd be good.
flyin;
I'll look into Chapman
CWS;
I'll check SCEA's Hudson. Mine is nice though!

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Are you really going to sleep better tonight if he says, "Yes they will be done tomorrow," because when it's done it will be done. Him saying a date or time isn't going to help you at all. Just be patient and when he uploads the file and says it's in the vault. Download it and start your franchise. Relax and stop asking when it will be done. It gets annoying not only to people on here but roster makers themselves.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Okay...
I'll give you guys a hint!
I call them End of Season Rosters and not halfway between September Call-ups and Playoff rosters.
They will be ready for the playoffs....maybe sometime late this week.
Sorry I can't be more specific.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Knight, very quickly if you don't mind I have a few questions.
Ramiro Mendoza, who is currently pitching for the Newark Bears in the Atlantic League was signed as a Minor League free agent prior to the season (he also pitched for Panama in the WBC this year), but was released shortly after the start of the season. I don't recall if he was in your opening day set, but if so would you consider putting him in the Free Agent pool for this set? Mendoza was a favorite of mine during the Yanks championship run and I'd love to see him get another shot next season. If not, can you give me an idea how many created player slots will be left, or how many extra generic editable players will be in the set? I often like to create journeyman or retired vets and throw them in the set so I can pick them up for depth in my franchises.
Also, any word on if you included Reid Fronk, Cody Cipriano, Mike McCormick or Alex Cobb in the Tampa Bay system? These guys are ideal fillers, I wouldn't consider Fronk or Cipriano anything above a D potential (Cobb and McCormick probably C's). I only ask because these were guys I became friendly with back in 2007 while interning with the Rays NY-Penn League affiliate. If not no big deal, I can just add them later.
Good looks Knight, keep up the great work we all appreciate it.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Also, idk if this is the right thread but I was a little confused about something and was hoping you could clear it up for me. How come some versions of the Full Minors set only worked pre-patch and some only worked post-patch, and how will this version work for both?Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Cobb and Fronk are in.
Cipriano and McCormick aren't.
With Cip and McC....it was just a numbers thing.....the 6 catchers on T.B....5 are SCEA players...and Lobaton(my created guy)....is on the 40 man.
There are also quite a few SCEA OF'ers...I could get Fronk in or Cobb...but Fronk must have played more AAA or AA games(that's a deciding factor.)
Mendoza?...Sure I can put him in the FA pool for you.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Kinda but not really.
yunel escabor stance is julio franco
matt diaz stance is roger hornsby
this for braves fansI'll agree Chipper & Yuni aren't perfect but they're the best looking in the database - Matt Diaz is Jimmie Foxx.
Keep ah' chuggin' Knight! I'm anxiously waiting.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
