    I can hardly wait. Thanks so much Knight for all the work that you do. SCEA should really put you on the payroll!!!

      Am I correct on those? Also, I was wonder if these will be in the roster:
      • Tyler Matzek (Rockies Draft Pick) YES
      • Recently retired players (Clemens, Bonds, etc)? No....but I could

      Hope this helps!

      Could you please? I'm referring to the bottom line about recently retires players such as Bonds and Clemens. That would be awesome Knight! What would be even awesomer is if you could throw an El Duque in there as well.

      Or any of these guys (Players who ended the 2009 season as free Agents) who got dropped from the game in SCEA updates.
      The following players are currently free agents.  I've categorized them by position; the player's 2009 age is in parentheses. Updated …

      Particularly Chris Duncan and B.J. Ryan if they're not in the set already, which I don't believe they are if I recall correctly.

      I would def be willing to wait even longer for these additions. I'll call you God if you do these.

        I know me personally, I wouldn't mind having AN real professional baseball player in my franchise FA pool. Stranger things have happened than an unexpected FA signing.

          Do the SCEA ratings update significantly over the season? As players such as Carlos Gonzalez and Kendry Morales improved dramatically over the season.

          In terms of stances, as a Rockies fan, my suggestion would be the following stance changes, as they're the closest ones:
          Tulowitzki - Jacobs (Tulowitzki is now upright)
          Hawpe - Bloomquist
          Gonzalez - Durham
          Unfortunately I dont think Schilling or Kenny Rogers (or most of the FA's that were in the game when it released prior to any SCEA updates) are in this set.

I would of said palmiero or even Mike piazza but gotta get back the best steroid era of sammy and mark lol. All in all that final slot should be between juan, marky mark or palmiero. Let me know what you think of those for the fatjoe edition knight lol. Mad love and respect bro.
          I agree with Bonds, Clemens, Mussina, and probably Sosa. I would definitely prefer Piazza to Juan Gone or Palmeiro. Or even David Wells would be pretty cool.

Just make them so you know they are elite status with pujols and them (Unless you make them in their declining years). Man striking out the babe with king felix or greinke would be freaking awesome lol.
          I personally don't think he should include old time legends like the Babe. That would be too unrealistic in Franchise, as opposed to recently retired players who are well...still living. Besides, Babe is one of the legends already in the game. All those Gold and Silver Era players are in the FA pool outside of Franchise, aren't they? I'm not sure but I think you can choose to include them in the FA pool for Franchise, but if not I'm sure if you add them to whatever team in roster control before starting your franchise that they would be there when you did start it.

              I'm pretty sure Joba will be a starter...he's a starter in real life...the Yankees wouldn't go to a 3 man rotation for the entire season

                Knight I just wanted to say that I can't wait for these rosters. You said in a previous post that Razr's pitch edits would not be in v1. I was wondering how many versions of these you planned on putting out? Again thank you!!! These rosters are the only reason I haven't traded this game in!

                  Knight,

                  Will the first version have the fixes for the batting orders, so that we won't see guys like Helton leading off?

                  Thanks!

                    Re: Knights End of Season Set

                    I have to admit I have been "lurking" around this thread for two weeks now. I wanted to be up front and honest and tell everyone, I'm as giddy as a schoolboy on Christmas morning for this roster. Thank you Knight for your hard work. I had one question:

                    Does anyone know if the "potential" rating will be able to be edited in next year's game?

                    I know this is not the place but most all of you have more knowledge of this game and next year's so I thought I would give it a shot.

                    Thanks

                      Yeah but they might flip/flop Hughes and Joba in Spring training. At least that's what I would do.

                        Itw;

                        I'm not sure what to do with Joba.....but I think I'll leave him as a starter.

                        andrew;
                        I'm not sure. I do want to do one with the pitch edits from Razr and all the stances/motions from Strut......it'll be a little down the line.

                        devilsjaw;
                        I'll be setting the lineups/rotations as per the most used be each team...but I'm not going to go to any GREAT lengths to fix lineups. I'm going with SCEA's rating on their players for the most part. Helton is a relatively easy fix that doesn't really effect much....I'll check through them.

                        jt;
                        I don't know...I hope the potential rating will be editable...but I've got no advanced knowledge on this.

                        Thanks to all of you guys for the support. It's much appreciated.
                        I might need an extra day or two. It's 11:00PM now...and I'll work until about 1:00AM tonight. I've got work tomorrow and Saturday....I'm going to try and get some done...but Friday-Saturday are pretty busy.
                        I've got the Rays,Tigers, WS,Twins, Royals, Mariners and Rangers to clean up(meaning their secondary prospect and fill in players....it's the pitchers that take so friggin' long(tracking down their pitches/speeds/breaks....grrrr..) and their seems to be a ton I left to clean up) It'll get done though!

                        I'm going to go with the most games played MLB level to set up the 25 man rosters.(most appearances for pitchers)

                        I'm thinking...
                        A.L. teams....
                        10 pitchers(5SP-1LR-2MR-1SU-1CL)
                        15 position players

                        N.L. teams....
                        11 pitchers(5SP-1/2 LR-2/3MR-1SU-1CL)
                        14 position players

                        I'll post where I'm at after 1AM.

                            I'm not trying to recreate the 2009 season.

                                I've got about 50-55 players scattered through 6 A.L. teams that need to be done.(this is the effect of trying to race through originally, to try and get out a workable early set .....My normal work method is to go through an entire team top to bottom before I move on)

                                I'll be bringing my work TO work with me.
