Re: Knights End of Season Set
A trade involving Brian Giles and Cliff Floyd in separate trades(among others) brought this team ten games over 500.
I didn't continue since I have been waiting for this roster set though. Maybe its just me though. Some people like to dominate franchise mode with the power house teams.Last edited by layaway; 10-23-2009, 05:07 PM.Comment

You must not realize just how young they are.A trade involving Brian Giles and Cliff Floyd in separate trades(among others) brought this team ten games over 500.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Padres....
They would be tough to bring around.
You will have the chance to try and keep Will Startup healthy and into the MLB!
I think the Padres are a good team to try and rebuild.
You have a few good young pitchers in Latos, Richard and the most intriguing to me in Poreda.
...You've also got a good anchor in Gonzalez and some promising up and comers in Blanks, Headley and Durango.
With the big chip gone.....it would be fun to see who you can get for Giles(at the trade deadline for maximum value or if a team has someone go down)...because he's just about the only guy worth trading(and that may be a stretch!)
Interesting choice.
I'm not even getting to some of their further away from the MLB prospects.
I like it.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Question for my search crew.
Another Red Sox question(those troublesome buggers).
I noticed yesterday when I was going through the Mets...that 1B/OF Chris Carter was on their 40 man.
Did he get moved before the end of the season?
Do you guys want me to leave him on the Sox or move him to the Mets?
Thanks...

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Yeah Carter was one of the guys traded to the Mets for Billy Wagner but Carter didnt make it thru waivers so they had to wait till the end of the season to finish the deal. I agree to the Mets is coolComment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Ahh....the PTBNL in the Wagner deal.
Okay...yes he needs to be moved.
Thanks.
Solve my AAA/AA 1B problem for the Mets as well.
With Delgado/Tatis/Murphy in the MLB.....and only Ike Davis left as the other "real" 1B....I had a vacancy in the minors...Davis to AA and Carter to AAA....works well.
Thanks.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Dear Knight,
First and foremost, thank you for all your hard work on this.
I have no comments regarding any individual players other than to say that now that you are trying to incorporate post season roster changes there will always be a player that needs to be moved somewhere. While no games are played in the off season, thee is certainly a lot going on. I would have been OK if you had left it at the rosters as of the last day of the regular season. This is not at all a criticism but rather a comment that at some point you will need to just not worry about further future events and have a cut off date.
I will be extremely happy with the rosters as finished regardless. You are one of the major reasons why the game is so great and I enjoy it so much.
Thank you again.

I'm not making any future moves.
I'm in the home stretch right now.
Give me about an hour.
Last 4 teams for levels/lineups/rotations.
