Re: Knights End of Season Set
First off, thanks to Knight and everyone on a great set. Once again, you out did yourself. Much appreciated coming back to improve again and again.
Second off, what do you mean "SCEA player". Curious since he was definitely underrated in your first version of this set(compared to other Red starters)

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Well, the only one I have would be R. Aurilia for Tyler Flowers on the White Sox.
As for my question, I guess I used other peoples suggestions. Just seems like some of the minor leaguers you created had different deliveries and stances. Did you maybe leave the default ones of the guys you edited?Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Knight, sent you a pm let me know what you think...
got a lot done on V2 tonight/will continue into today
I did some minor editing on some attributes i felt were way out of wack from SCEA (majority done on CIN, but some league-round)
few i remember:
rated too high - jose guillen, griffey, k. greene, w. taveras, many more i can't remember...
not rated enough - casey mcgahee (sp?), bailey...(honestly not trying to be a homer, knight, but this kid needs more than what you are giving him...), Billy Butler, etc. etc...
I'd love to address the durability issue and update some injuries, but i'm not sure what you think about that...
just started on the stamina edits, would go much quicker with a list but i can look up the stats and plug in some numbers...i'll get it done eventually (trying to stay true to the career numbers when deciding their stamina as well) SCEA wasn't wrong on every pitcher...
Strut...can I get the list of batting stances/motions? I do those I know from personal research but I couldn't afford mlb.tv this year so my sources are limited with most teams outside of the reds...if you could do this yourself it would make things even speedier if you had a list in front of you...Smok did a decent job (is that your sn?)....thanks man...RAZR is planning on the pitch edits soon, correct?
again great job OS people...Knight holler at me, let me know if you want to look at the actual roster i'm working on midway through, i'll post it on the vault...Last edited by ThirdDegree5803; 10-27-2009, 09:17 AM.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Matt Maloney from Cin is 25/26 not 29, minor fix i noticed...i also saw some weird 2nd positions from certain players in this roster set as well...(Carlos Delgado, Jim Thome, etc...having C or 3B when these guys can barally stay healthy to dh these days...Marcus Thames was another guy i had to drop in attributes...Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Okay....
I got in these fixes...
-NYM pitching staff correct levels and rotation
-created Bryan Berglund for the Marlins(replaced Koronka who was released)
-I improved Bailey(Reds), but he is an SCEA player...
-created Jeff Malm for the Rays
-created Stock for the Cardinals
-fixed Ryan Westmoreland for the Sox(his name must remain Westmorland...can't use more letters)
-replaced duplicate Chris Perez(Cards) with Nick Additon
-replaced duplicate Kevin Mulvey with Mike McCardell
Also..I would like to thank skow05 for updating a lot of stances and motions....Great work.
I also went in and found more updates for that...and got through the A.L. and NL East.
I would like to thank Shinyhubcaps for that...those are from his thread and blog.
Here is the link.....http://www.sendspace.com/file/4ql8by
It will be on SportsConnect under Knight End of Season v2
Thanks again guys and ENJOY!

Yes...I went on Struts list where I either remembered or had the time.
I then filled in with Shiny's where I also had time or remembered.
As far as minor league players....I didn't follow my list from Opening Day. I actually(stupidly) don't have a written list. I did those as I went along with searches, so I would have had to have gone through the set and write it down or follow it with Picture in Picture.
I just assigned random ones with this set for the minor leaguers.
Aurillia was Shinyhubcaps.
He's got a thread and I followed those.
I thought guys liked that list.
I gotta PM Strut24...he's the man with stances and motions.
geo!
SORRY! I forgot about Phillips...arrrrghhh!
Third D;
Good catch on Maloney. Thanks. He's 25.
Shakedown;
I'm glad you got it to work. I wasn't sure if you meant the link or the file. Enjoy!
