Re: Knights End of Season Set

    Dear Knight,

First, thank you very much for all your hard work on these rosters.

In looking at the Detroit franchise everything looks great except that there is a player Booker Brown. I am not familiar with this player. Perhaps he is a fictional player who was missed. If so, then I would suggest changing him to Brennan Boesch. Brennan is currently playing Winter ball for the Tigers.

Thank you again. I am looking forward to the issue of the version with the stamina edits etc. added.

Hmmm...I think I missed the closers there....because those are not the correct players.
      Thanks for pointing that out.

        hey Knight,

If you do decide to make some changes to the Pirates pitching staff, can you please add Zack Von Rosenberg? According to Baseball America, he would make their top 10 next year. Link:

It would be awesome if you can get him in haha

        Thanks,
        Patrick

          Thanks for the hard work!

I was going to request a touch up for Ramiro Pena (Yankees) when you were doing this set, but I see that you did it on your own, it looks GREAT!

As far as the faces; this is one of the main reason why I think your roster is the ultimate rosters to have, starting with the hard work you did in MLB 08.

          Thanks again.

Just wanted to pop in here and give a big freaking thank you to Knight. You've increased my enjoyment of this years game(last years too) 10 fold. This new roster is just awesome man. It's probably going to keep me playing 09 until your new set comes out next year. Keep up the great work.

Btw, do you accept donations Knight? If so, I'd gladly send a little something your way. Thanks again.
            Now, more than ever

Any suggestions for who we can create to fill the Pirates pitching spots? I saw that Bootcheck had 20 saves in AAA last season. Thanks.

Chris Bootcheck has opted for Minor League free agency and is not resigning with the Pirates

I doubt prior will even make a ballclub after getting cut by the padres this year...ryan is a long shot with the cubbies probably why they didnt make the SCEA cut

Your Dexter Fowler face is a major upgrade. The SCEA version did him no justice....I looked over the Pirates roster and possibly found three more pitchers that are most likely fake....RP Joselo Ortega, RP Eric Coats, RP Julio Zepeda.

If you need any suggestions on who to replace these players, I would suggest the following:

Danny Moskos - AA Altoona Curve - SP - former first round, 4th overall. He currently is used as a starter but projects to mid/long relief if he makes it to the majors.

Tyler Herron - AA Altoona Curve - SP - former supplemental 1st round. Currently a starter...more likely a middle relief in the future.

Jeff Locke - High A Lynchburg - SP - Braves 2nd Rd Pick 2006....One of the top pitching prospects in the organization and a main piece in the Nate McLouth trade. He should start at AA next season.

                        Thanks for all your work...

I was going so nuts trying to get them all done....dragging my PS3 and notes to work...and back...to work and back...it sounds like I missed some guys in the process.

                          ..also, thanks for the compliment.

I wish, probably many others do as well, that the Roster Save file could be edited by some third party program on your computer. I read that you used to work on High Heat rosters. That series (and MVP) was a roster creators dream with the possibilities and convience for editing. I think I speak for all of us by stating that we have the upmost appreciation for you lugging your console around and giving us a lot more MLB the Show mileage.

Knight...could you hold off with those changes unti the pitch edits set is completed? all the stamina edits are done...I've rented another 'the show' and have been borrowing my buddies ps3 - id give an eta of 4 days for the whole set to be done...i have been taking down the changes necessary (mine i noticed and all the requests posted here...i'm working on v2)

one i just noticed Knight, and i am checking the reds minors to make sure you got them all right (couple i didn't recognize), you should switch Lew Ford for Yorman Rodriguez. Yorman had a good year at billings A, and should make a good jump in 2010...

but wait!!!! i'll be done soon fellas...
