hey guys, i was on mlb 10 in the roster vault and there was a set of rosters uploaded today april 4th titled, Knight o.s. just wondering if this was actually knights release, i dont believe it is because the only thing on it are the big name prospects and pretty much nothing else from what i can see. anyone have info about it?

Hard to tell. I hear there is a fake one out as well. It's a shame we can't read the roster descriptions...that still hasn't been fixed.

You can.
At the GLOBAL options.....set injuries to MANUAL(the choices are OFF/ON/MANUAL....and this can be switched between the three all season long....what I'm doing is...starting manual...giving out the pre season injuries....then setting it to ON for the rest of the year and letting it go as it does).....and then go to the DISABLED LIST....hit R1 to go to the roster....hit X on the player....and then give him(or you can heal him)...the injury. This can only be done when the switch in GLOBAL options(or GAMEPLAY once the season is started...gameplay are the global)...is manual.

Quick question: I play seasons exclusively and never delve into franchise mode. All I'm looking for is the accurate Majors roster and I rarely mess with the minor leagues (I use CPU Roster Control and injuries are turned to off). Would I be just as good off using Sony's roster update?

Knight talked about it earlier today. Go back to pages 160 or so. He said he wouldn't name his roster with "Knight" in them anyway. You'll know when it's his roster. All the minor leaguers will be named. Also, telling signs it was a fake are Jason Heyward's ridiculous attributes (almost as good as Pujols) and Strasburg's weak stamina (as bad as a closer). It had prospects, but it was a fake.

KNIGHTS OS ROSTER is a fake. Vote it down.

Some Giants news:

Sounds like John Bowker has beaten out Nate Schierholtz for the starting right field job. Both will be on the 25 man roster, but it sounds like Bowker will be in the lineup on opening day.

Just thought I'd note this since the default rosters actually have Bowker as a 1B (he has played there quite a bit but they are looking at him in the corner OF spots this year, at least for now).

Bowker's was the hottest hitter in AAA last year, and one of the hottest hitters in the majors this spring. Hopefully he keeps it going with the Giants in the majors this year.

As a Giants fan, this is going to be my only frustration with the OS roster. Bowker is really low rated with a D potential. I'm assuming if he stays hot, SCEA will increase his ratings or at the very least, fix his potential. But since the OS rosters are based on an earlier SCEA roster and potential can't be fixed, Bowker will always stink, no matter what he does in real life.

But there's probably a case like this for fans of every team, which is why it's so frustrating when video games don't let you just edit everything, including potential.

I don't know if it was mentioned already, but regarding the Yankees, catcher Mike Rivera was released by the yanks and catcher Chad Moeller was signed by the yanks.

Kazmir will start seas. on DL and Palmer will replace him in the rotation.
