several players potential were improved in the march 8th update alot of the stars were raised up to better grades.but overall there were stlll way too many fake positional players with poor potential ratings but in turn alot of pitchers had good grades which is a positive. curious why scea would continue to give so many 35 year old and older players a potential rating of A when they clearly will not be getting better but indeed starting to lose abilities.. while giving way too many 18-24 year old players a D- or F rating. when they clearly havent met there potential abilities yet. it appears to be almost 70 percent of fake positional players have D -or F ratings.(eyeballing it) any thoughts on that being realistic?

My understanding is that Knight used the SCEA updated rosters that had the potential fixed for some of the players. Though SCEA didnt catch all of them but its better than nothing.

It means the ones out today will have all the correct minor leaguers in all organizations with faces and correct stats and everything for all the players. Then the next person in their group will take these rosters and make sure every MLB player (pitcher) has the correct pitch repertoire and speeds etc. Ex - People say, hey Heath Bell needs a curveball or so and so doesn't throw a cutter, these will all be added or deleted in V2. (for Major Leaguers) the Minor leaguers are heavily scouted and researched and will have their pitches.

this is correct, except that not all the player faces will be done. I believe just the top prospects and the NL East were completed. Kinight said there is MUCH more to do with the faces.

Dear Knight and others,

First, thank you for all your hard work with these rosters. I am waiting patiently for these rosters to come out. I know it is a huge amount of work.

I have noted that the SCEA rosters for Detroit include players like Phil Dumatrait and Enrique Gonzalez, players who have never been on the 40 man roster for Detroit (while Austin Jackson who is on the 25 man roster is omitted). The latest update from SCEA did not correct this.

Will players like Dumatrait and E. Gonzalez still be in the OS Full minors set which you are putting out? (I do not know if it is possible to get rid of them(release them)). If they are still there, is the solution to give them an "out for the season" injury so they are no longer an impediment to making the roster correct?

I apologize if this is abasic question but I am not very good at "roster moves" like this.

Does Knights or SCEA's new roster have the 25-man set post spring so that the CPU doesnt DFA and reshuffle lineups that are unrealistic?--

whoever finds out first that these rosters are out please take a minute to post on this thread and a heads up on the actual name and what not.. even though a new thread is supposed to be started.just so we dont miss the new one.thanx...anyone else have the day off and enjoying opening day so far?

I'm also enjoying this beautiful spring day off, watching the Buccos beat-up on the Dodgers 7-2 right now, and waiting as patiently as I can for the rosters to be released. lol

i think im the only person outside of pittsburgh with 3 pirates on his team, mccutchen, garrett jones and jeff clement. they're killing to today

Yeah, enjoying the games here. Pujols going... well, Pujols on the Reds, Phillies destroying the Nats (with Halladay cruising so easily that he's broke out a few screwballs, trying to add yet another weapon to his arsenal), it's been fun. Also enjoyable to see Johnny Bench catch the first pitch for the Reds, while President Obama threw out the first pitch for the Nationals while James Brown (sportscaster, obviously) did the introductions. My Cubs are still a half-hour away. Life is good...
