Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Idk how many times people have to say this... because of licensing issues, Sony CANNOT incorporate players into the game unless they have had major league service time. Period.Patriots

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Thirded. I'm thinking of making some rosters myself next year of all minors for people who don't like to wait. obviously not even in the same league as Knight and Ridins', but worth making for some people. just some attributes, positions, names, and potentials. i think it would be pretty funComment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Because minor league players aren't in a union and it drive up licensing fees. Surely you won't want to pay $200 for this game now would you? This was the case in MVP Baseball, in ASB Baseball, and always has been for MLB The Show. Sure there could be someone who could take the time to adjust ratings and somethings for the "fake players" pre-release with different names, but that too would take months (and you might not even agree with some of the players).Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Guys can we please refrain from posting things like "when are they coming out?' or "there's one uploaded on sportsconnect". That info is already in many places in the thread and on Knight and Ridins profiles. Posting pointless questions like that are only making that info harder to find. Thanks. btw I will be working off of Knight's V2 once that comes out.My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
The MLBPA is the Major League Baseball Players Association. Minor league players are NOT a part of the MLBPA. Therefore, minor league players cannot be included. It's not a stupid rule at all. Why should a Major League Baseball game include players that are not in the MLBPA?Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Its not the MLBPA, its the people who make the game. They only signed for the players that are in the MLBPA, the minor leaugers arent in the MLBPA yet, not until they appear in at least one game. This is also the reason we had Jon Dowd instead of Barry Bonds in MVP. Same reason Bill Belicheck isnt in Madden, Kevin Millar, Bill Parcells yadda yadda. you cant expect the makers of the game to go up to all the minor leaugers and say "sign this, we want to put you in a video game!"Sports.Comment

Actually, Kevin Millar is a different situation. He came into the league as a replacement player during the strike. The players that crossed the picket line during the strike were denied entry into the MLBPA. This is also true for Ron Mahay, Damian Miller and Matt Herges. Barry Bonds simply opted out of the MLBPA.Comment
