According to WFAN in NY it looks like Hughes will be the 5th starter, which puts Joba in the bullpen (which is where he should be) and Gaudin was put on waivers.

I actually just read an article about him. He's in Tampa now. They have him going through a rehab program, possibly the same one Hamilton went through. They are hoping he gets everything turned around, and from the sounds of the article he is.

Ok boys, Im back! After going yard 4 times in Surprise last weekend taking BP with the Royals I am ready to rock. Hit the cages last night and feeling my true power stroke coming back. HAHAHA. Man you guys should have seen how high of a pop up to second base I hit with my first swing! Then a bunch of p-rods foul down the left field line! Eventually connected on a couple of bombs to deep left and central! My timing is off!

Here is what I saw.

Heisey - PH homer, dude looks good.

Stubbs - inside the park homer, dude can fly.

Starlin Castro - 1 AB, 1 F7

Milton Bradley - 2 games, 2 ejections = dude needs anger management.

Saw 6 games, but most teams had regular season lineups. I was a bit bummed to see very few prospects. I had to venture off on my own to MiL games.

where is jack nicholson when you need him?

awesome to see you caught some Reds games & you would be correct Stubbs can fly...he hit a lead-off bomb yesterday...I love CDick at the lead-off spot but it will be hard to keep both Drew and Chris out of the line-up at the same time...I'd honestly consider keeping Bruce on the bench against lefties and put Gomes in right...

about heisey? Dusty cut him :-(

In the first ejection he didn't even say a word. Dropped his bat, picked it back up, and walked to the dugout. Never even glanced at the ump. It's turning into less of a problem with Bradley and more of a problem with ridiculous umps. They're just making it so obvious.

He did not pick it up. He left it there and walked to the dugout shooting his mouth off. I was five rows from the spectacle. It didnt look too bad but he did argue balls and strikes.

He definitely picked it up. It's right in the vid ty5oke just posted. Also, the ump tossed him before he said a word.

Nope, that was Saturday night. I was talking about Friday night. Come to think of it, he really didnt do anything to be ejected in that one. The crowd let him have it too.

Oh. The one that ty5oke linked to was the first ejection. It was on Thursday, the second one was on Friday. I didn't actually see the second one. Anyway, the first one was just ridiculous.

ksig, anything out of Eric Hosmer? Kid was the number 3 pick that year year and I think he dropped out of the top 100 in most rankings I've seen, at least out of the top 50. I know he's only like 19-20 but do the Royals already regret taking him. Same could be said for Tim Beckham too i guess

So I guess what I'm looking for is reaffirmation, but I noticed how some guys arent in the game, like Joe Mather or Jim Edmonds, small detraction I know, but did you add them? And if you did too bad it wont be the same with out the career stats. Also found a stat glitch with some other guys. Like Mark DeRosa only having 3 years of service and Nelson Cruz only having 3 career hits.

I'm assuming theres nothing you can do abou that.

Too early for Beckham, he improved last season although he's not dominating in the minors. As for Hosmer, he has been a huge disappointment.

Beckham's has played one(full) season and you already consider him a bust? Yea I would of rather had Posey but Beckham is only 19. Give him a chance
