I know this isn't the place but I respect your opinons and feel that obviously we all want realistic game play or we wouldn't be in this thread. Do any of you use guess pitch or is that a major no no. I know it depends on the person but I am new and want the most realistic game as possible.

Delwyn Young for the Bucs is smashing the ball and it reminds me of when Mark Johnson (maybe ugliest batting stance ever in Pirates history next to Al Martin.) used to play and have a great spring training every year and then do less then nothing when it mattered.

P.s. I just got my Pirates season tickets and stoked.

i do just because I'm way too aggressive at the plate (odd, considering i was the exact opposite way in real life.) guess pitch makes me more patient because i wont swing with 0 strikes unless i guess both right. and i wont swing with 1 strike unless i get 1 right or its a meatball

26 in August and I figured he would be a C or a D, bu the looks like he may have finally figured it out. They7 should have let him pitch he threw 96 in HS.

that was almost a decade ago, chances of him making it to the majors at this point are razor thin.

Good luck with the Buccos....not gonna be easy, but you've got some really good position players who are good prospects...

rmac...I'm not sure if he's in. I could check later...but even C's and D's can contribute!

Hey Knight,

Just wanted to say Astros switched Koby Clemens to 1B and he will start the year at AA Corpus Christi. Also, J.R. Towles is batting .400 this spring and it is all but official he will be the opening day starter with Humberto Quintero backing up. It looks like Jason Castro will begin the year in AAA Round Rock.

But, you probably already knew this since your da man.

It appears Jamie Garcia will be the Cardinals fifth starter. He's had a tremendous spring!

Have not heard that name since I wasted about a $1,000 on all his auto'd rookie cards which I am still sitting on. HAHAHA. No really though. What a major disappointment here. ksig, you still holding on to Brien Taylor stock too? lol

theres only two guys in the last decade that i've went out of my way to collect everything i could on them before they went pro and they were Joe Mauer and Mark Prior. i think i'll at least be able to cash in on one of them

Just my opinon but I think theres only two position players with the A's that warrent B ratings, Grant Green and Stassi. Taylor and Carter are A's. I'm not a professional though, I defer to Ksig, lol
