Anyone has a better suggestion for Gabe Gross? his hidden stance is totally off!
The official website of the Athletics with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.
Also ill give him low socks and take away his arm bands.Last edited by brunnoce; 03-10-2010, 02:29 PM.---------------

I haven't given it much thought, as I really don't expect him to make the team. I will try to check it out tonight though and see if anything looks good.Comment

Re: White Cleats - Oakland A's 2010 Edits
I forgot to ask this earlier, but are we adding rating/pitch type edits on here as well? For me, I jacked up the defense for both Ellis (they had him at C) and Sweeney (they had it at D). I also dropped down Cust's fielding to zero and upped his bunting and base running ability just a little. He bunted a few times for hits successfully last season as well as stole a few bases. The changes still made him my third best RF overall. As for pitches, I think Maz is without a sinker and I am pretty sure that they didn't add a 2-seamer for Cahill, perhaps his best pitch. I have no idea what to rate them at though. I am a little better at transforming batting stats than I am at pitch ratings.Comment

I completly agree with your suggesntions, and imo Ellis could use evan a B on defense, although he doenst have amazing range he is a 2b as solid as u can get, just check his errors number, theyre really low.
About Cust i agree with the suggestions too and id add lowering this contact rating by 10 or 15 points.. 59 is just too much for a guy with 86 power that bats 240-260... with 59/86 we would easily bat 280-290 with him....
Please post your suggestions in numbers so i can copy and paste into the first topic, like these exemples:
M.Ellis
Fielding: 78
Cust
Contact R: 45

Re: White Cleats - Oakland A's 2010 Edits
Since they have a separate range and fielding ability, I would actually put Ellis somewhere from 88-92. The last three years, he has been as good, if not better defensively than any other 2nd baseman. The few errors he does have, are almost always throwing errors that a good defensive 1st baseman might have been able to bail him out on. Good call on Cust. It is still early for me, but he is leading my team in batting average.
Sweeney
Fielding: 75 or higher
Reaction: 80ish (he compensates for a lack of speed by getting good breaks)Comment

Re: White Cleats - Oakland A's 2010 Edits
FYI - I have Ellis at 92 fielding and he already has 1 error in 4 games. Almost two, but he recovered in time to get the runner out. I like that. A bit off topic, but I really love the fielding this year. I have only seen one throwing error into the stands, versus quite a few throwing errors in other locations, to include pulling me off the bag. I also saw Jack Wilson let a ball go under his glove and it was actually called an error. The developers weren't lying when they said fielding got some love this year. Sorry to go off topic.Comment

Great job! Did you also notice that Bailey has a fake picture. Any idea why that is? I can understand certain real players not getting real pictures if they are lesser known rookies, but Bailey did take home the ROY award. I though for sure he would get his own pic.Comment
