bhs16 had Lopez right. It was the same in '09 for Knights rosters, etc. Its Generic 72 this year which was Trot Nixon in '09.

Speaking of Knights rosters/OS full minors... I can't wait for those rosters to come out for 2010. Last year I was diligent in getting the stances right for the Mariners. I see almost every game of theirs almost every year and even went back to study MLB.com clips to make sure I got the best possible deliveries and stances available. Then when Knights rosters came out, they were like 90% exactly what I had in regard to stances and deliveries.

The guys who work on those are good.

yea i dont really care for the mannerisms of the batting stances, i prefer a more realistic stance.

as i said, these are what i choose to use, i used mlb.com videos to change each motion but these videos are sometimes older and to quick to get a good glimpse, but i also dont spend more than 3 mins on each player, as i prefer to play the game than edit it that intensely.

gutierrez however, is tricky, i picked the one i chose for the hand movement, but in reality he uses a closed stance so really not one good one to use.

For Ichiro.. They just need to change his follow-through. It makes me not want to use him...

after going through each stance, these are the ones i feel most closely represent Ichiro...let me know what you think??

            Gen 101
            torrealba
            Roberts
            Montero
            hundley
            counsel

of each of these...my choice is counsell and it looks great in game, the only issue is it is a one handed swing

We'll see if he sticks with the high socks this year. Last year he mostly had the baggy pants.

I like Crede for Griffey. Played a game against him and he hit a double into the gap and the whole swing looked good with the one handed follow through. His default stance is horrible, and one of the worst in the game.

Very true but there is no way I would give up the Griffey home run trot for a better looking stance.

Agree that Jr.'s stance is way off but that HR trot is nice and close enough to the real thing.

I'm surprised no one has posted that Chone Figgins has been playin 2B all spring and Jose Lopez 3B. Most likely this is their set up this year but who knows, it's not set in stone just yet but I bet it stays that way.

They're just trying to get lopez acclimated to 3b to try and boost his trade value. it's no secret the the front office was looking to deal him this past offseason but since he's got such little range no one was willing to bite. by showing he can play 3b hes now much more attractive as a guy who can play 1b,2b and 3b.

So much for boosting trade value. They are going into the season with Lopez at 3B and Chone at 2B.

You are right in that they will ditch Lopez as soon as they can.

From what I have read on MLB.com, it looks like Waka is thinking about having Milton Bradley clean up.

And also having Kotchman and Gutierrez swap lefty/righty at bats in the 3 hole depending on the opposing pitcher.

                              .

That's something I've heard too. Kotchman batting 3rd makes me shiver though. The guy is a GIDP machine. And a 1-2 of Ichiro and Figgins are going to be on base A LOT.

Batting Kotchman 3rd is asking for trouble. He has not looked good this spring.

I'm a Yankees fan, but I've been intrigued with how the Mariners offseason has been, so I've been following them here and there.

Now from what I can tell Waka is just feeling this through for the short term. In the long run, Kotchman will probably be phased out of that 3-spot all together, if he keeps up the way hes been going.

Then again, Bradley isn't my ideal clean up hitter either...I'd be interested to see how this lineup of there's plays out on The Show 10....
