The stuff he is throwing right now is flat nasty. AND it is relatively under control. Mark it down: he will break camp as the number five starter.

most are projecting him the 5th starter anyway.

Don't know that in 30+ years of being a Reds fan I have been this excited about a pitching rotation to start the season! 5+ deep and I am hoping for good health this season!

Just wait until Volquez comes back for the playoff push! I don't remember mentioning the postseason and actually being serious in over a decade.

And I realized I didn't really like D.Wills for Chapman..
Generic 3, or J. Guthrie work better, IMO.
i can tell you after watching leake pitch down the street at ASU for three years, Vazquez is nothing like Leake. Leak starts with his glove high then starts his windup by dropping his hands below his waist. I'm using Gen 49 right now

Everyone may have differing options on what looks best for this player or that player, and I know a lot of people really like Chase Headley for Brandon Phillips, but I pesonally prefer Generic 89 for BP.

From these two pictures, I put together a list of stances that could be used for Jay Bruce. I really was paying attention to his elbow height and the position of his hands.

Coverage includes audio and video clips, interviews, statistics, schedules and exclusive stories.

I'm not sure how much bat movement he has, but here are several stances that reflect what I was able to pick up from the photos.

                      Generic 10
                      Rod Barajas
                      Adrian Beltre
                      Jason Bartlet
                      Joe Crede
                      Adam Everette
                      Jose Guillen
                      Howie Kendrick

I'm leaning towards Jose Guillen, Adrian Beltre, or most likely Generic 10 as I think it best reflects his elbow and hand position shown in the pictures, but again, I'm not sure how much bat movement he has in real life.

Thank you very much for the reccomendation.
I've seen a couple different rosters that have had Vazquez for Leake, and I figured they knew what they were talking about...then again they didn't live "down the street from ASU".
So thanks again, I'll take your word for it.

Aroldis Chapman could have the Jeremy Sowers pitching style I think its somewhat close.
