Hobbs played for the NY Knights and was national league- Its a fictitious team obviously but the Giants would be more accurate of the three NY teams of that era.

Status update: Been working on my favorite part: pitcher repertoires all week; have AL done and 1/2 NL should have finished by end of weekend...any pitches/pitch info not in neyer/james i have used both ootp baseball 2011 and the web...also ALL shoes have been edited for 25-man, face/gear edit COMPLETE for ALL 25-man teams aside from the 4 extra which i am still collecting information on in order to finish...FULL 40-man rosters are now rated (not many face/gear edits yet on 40-man), and more movie players have been added...once repertoires are done i will post an update here and in the vault

Hey. I've been browsing this site and these forums for about two years maybe and being able to play with these players is amazing. 1988 is the first season I really got into baseball and my favorite team was the Twins with Viola, Puckett, Gaetti, Hrbek and on. Being able to use them in the Show is just too cool. I haven't seen anything updated on this in awhile so I wasn't sure if this season is complete or not. I also love the idea of making future seasons from 89 and on. I can't imagine the work that goes into creating this and making it as close as possible to reliving the past of baseball. To all the people who are behind this, thank you.

sorry for the slacking on these...they are very close to finished...i have been working on including the american association AAA rosters with the v.4 release of snell's 89 roster (big surprise coming soon from snell...could we see yet another year?!)...saw the i-cubs play several times that year...dascenzo, varsho, villanueva, house, guinn....good stuff...also, pitcher ratings will be re-done on snell's 89, specifically movement, velocity, and control...and finally I have been trying to work in time to watch old games to do stances and deliveries...if anything else, the final release of 88 will have a TON more authentic stances and deliveries...cheers

That is awesome news. I'm looking forward to playing this and future seasons with these players. It's kind of fun to recreate someone's career in this game, like in the case of Viola. He unfortunately didn't come back strongly from Tommy John surgery and his career ended maybe a bit earlier. I still can't believe you and others are really doing this and how amazing it looks.
