Are these rosters done and ready to be utilized in a franchise? just wondering cause they sound freaking awesome...

Only the 25 man MLB roster is correct. All the real 2010 major leaguers are in the Minors.

So, a full fledged "franchise" is probably not a good idea, however, a single season, most definitely.

Also, does anyone know of anyone else, on other boards, that have done this with different years???

Man I would love to replay my 95 or 97 Indians seasons. I can't believe we didn't win it all those years...

No worries dude...40-man rosters for each team should be done by end of next week or so...if only i could think of something to do to the major leaguers...i thought about just dumbing down all their stats but i dunno

i think the best thing to do would be to lower all of the ratings of any player not on the 40man rosters for 1988.. that way if you play a season the CPU teams won't keep signing all of the top modern players from free agency.

maybe even try to create a free agent pool, either of rookies from the 1989 and 90 seasons or players that might have been FAs in that season....

have all players been rerated on teams I was scanning detroit and noticed whittaker and trammel were rated pretty low although maybe I have have a older version it was from may 6

yeah not many ratings were done then if at all...i will put up an updated version tomorrow for you guys to check out once i get a few more edits out of the way....LOTS of work done since then

just put new one in vault called 88rosWIP...all ratings for 25-man rosters are done and 40-man for bal bos nyy & some chw...face/gear edits done for all nl aside from 1/2 atl, 1/2 nym, 1/2 hou and most of mon...found out today while rating some of the 40-man players in the minors that i had been working off of a previous save of my roster but thankfully all i lost was face/gear edits for 2 or 3 teams...much has been done since the last update including implementing some stances people have given from feedback on the 80/90s stance/delivery thread (THANKS GUYS & PLEASE KEEP EM COMIN!)...just jumping around at this point doing stances/deliveries/AL face/gear edits and the minors portion of the 40 man rosters...lots of time to work on these this week so heres to hopin to be for the most part finished by week's end...much thanks to bjf for all the work he's been putting in as well...enjoy
