From what I've read it appears that knight's rosters contain the glitch where the FA in 2013 is full of all-stars, while the live rosters don't have this... is this true? what would cause this?

Don't tell me poor Knight's rosters are going to get screwed again like last year (the career stat problem if I recall correctly).
It doesn't matter to me though since I only play one season anyway.

Nothing has changed with the patch in regards to the Full Minors or any other download in between....until the last live update.
In this last SCEA update...they simply removed quite a few A players(pitchers) and replaced them with lower rated potential players as the answer to the problem in 2013. Something you can easily do yourself by aging a few "unworthy" A pitchers to 45 and letting them retire.
Talk of "not being able to use Knight's rosters" with the patch...as if it was incompatible(which I've seen)....is seriously beginning to grate on me.

So the answer then is to download your rosters, edit some A overall pitchers so they retire and you're good to go? So the patch never really fixed the problem, it was just the roster update?

I won't choose to void your rosters MK, even though it did just hose me in my franchise.. Finally had my team where I wanted it only to find out that Greinke and such players were in the FA pool... That stopped my 'chise. However, when rosters v2 come out, I will resort to using 30 team control and make sure the FA isn't loaded come 2013, which might be more fun anyway..

Guys Knights rosters will be totally cool relax. Im not even busting my butt on these rosters like Knight is and its grating on me too. Here is an idea, if its really bothering you, take the latest update and create your own rosters, enjoy ! Now with that being said can we bring it down to DEFCON 3 and relax please

I've been using knight's V1 rosters, and simmed spring training. I noticed that the rosters aren't screwed up. I.E. Pay-rod is batting cleanup, with Texiera batting 3. Am I just lucky, or did that issue get fixed? I only had user control on for 1 team.

Unless you're working with inside information, they certainly did NOT sign Bob Howry. News reports indicate an interest. Nothing has actually happened officially or otherwise.

This is my first "please Knight add this" post. I swore i would never do it.

Pirates AAA OF Jose Tabata needs power taken down and speed, base running, and contact ability pushed up. He bats lead off and has 19 stolen bases. What do you think?

so McCutchen would be our 5th pitcher in V2? I ask because the Pirates made all kinds of moves the first month ( like 9 or 10 starting pitchers) and I think I'm just gonna go with Brian Burres from the get if thats the situation.

knight just in case you didnt know these players has been release seattle randy ortiz sp, indians scott lewis sp,tampa pat burrell dh, toronto randy ruiz 1b and 2b houston k.matusi your roster will be worth the wait knight.

Knight said MLB rosters would reflect opening day. And that's fine with me. All we need to do is update them ourselves. We have to do our share too. There are many sources of information re player movements on Internet. It's all there. Come on, give the guy a breaqk, otherwise V2 will be further delayed and understandably so. The game itself has all the tools at our disposal, including live weekly roster updates. For those who don't have Internet, look up the box scores in the newspapers. The Sporting News for one is a great source of information. Be creative a bit. Why should we always have to wait for others to do the work.

Knight allow me to commend you on the excellent effort and work you put into this project, along with the other gentlemen who have assisted on the task. One question about the rosters, have you been adding Struts batting and pitching edits to Version 2 or is that something you will do for later versions? Thank you.
