I moved Romero to AAA and then then benched Lidge and Blanton for the time being b/c if you try to send them down to AAA they have to clear waivers which they won't....

Sorry to ask if that question has already been asked, but there are too many pages to read here :

Will that roster see an update in the coming days based on players reviews and comments, or will the next version be published in one month or so ?

I'm asking cause I don't mind waiting a little bit more to take into account early reviews. However, there'd be no point in waiting if no minor update will come soon. It's my first year in the show so I don't know if that roster is updated regularly or not !

Versions to come (as far as I know)
V1 - Out there already'
V2 - will include all faces done and minor league lineup cleanup edits
V2.1 (?) - will include Strut's equipment / stance edits
V2.2 (?) - all above with Razr and Pope's pitch (and stamina) edits
V2.3 (?) - all above with myself and ThirdDegree most SCEA created players pitcher (non-pitch / stamina edit i.e. H/9, BB/9 etc) and hitter (all except throwing) attributes re-rated using Bahnzo's roster tool 3 year average (2007 - 2009 non-weighted).


P.S. did anyone PM Russell and ask the SCEA team to remove the false rosters if possible, I know those guys love Knights work and for some jagoff (pardon) to be a total D...head and repost their stupidity in the vault. I hope said jagoff read this.

Regarding Opening Day Rosters....the mlbdepthcharts site has an Excel sheet dated April 5 that lists the opening day 25 man rosters, as well as DL spots. More efficient than hitting all 30 MLB sites. The MLB site has a Fantasy section with injury updates (updated daily - I saved the one from overnight Sunday/Monday).

Agree with you JaSnake. In this particular case I hope SCEA can do something. At the end it's not good for SCEA to have jerks like that posting stupid roster fakes.

to SCEA: I may understand it's too much work to add to next patch, but for MLB11 can you guys please add a column for submitter's username so we can find out who posted what ?

These are great guys, thanks so much. I changed Nick Johnson's stance back to his in the game, its not perfect, but Damon's annoys me because it, well, reminds me too much of Damon.

My only other question was, Dave Robertson's delivery (Yankees). Was that changed, its generic 42, I think now, and his delivery is not in the game. I guess I can load the SCEA ones and look at it there, should have thought of that last night. Anyway, started my new franchise, and got pummeled by Boston 8-4, was up 4-0 and had a complete meltdown with CC in the 5th.. actually, worked out pretty much like Yankees opening night lol

Mike Cameron's 3 run shot and 2 run double obviously made him player of the game.

Do we have any generic timeframe for the release of the next version ? Are we talking a week, a month ? I'm not asking for a deadline, I just would like to know if I can start my franchise without seeing a new roster a couple of days later

As far as I know no, and especially based on what happened in the previous thread I hope no one does give a time frame cause everyone saw how that worked out.

One error I found on the A's, Grant Desme left baseball back in January to join the priesthood.

Yeah....I left him in...I'm hoping the BASEBALL GODS eventually have a stronger calling for him.

Thanks for listing fixes....I'll get to them(if I can sort them out)...
I tried to stress that this version was going to be a bit raw as I didn't get the chance to go through each team/each level as I usually do before release. Some teams(ala Red Sox) were done a while ago...long before all the minor league rosters were set.
...and in the case of releasing guys(SCEA players that cannot be edited)...we are a little hamstrung on that....with no more players to be had.
You will see some things that need fixing....for sure. I left off at the Orioles(that's where I start)...so obviously I've got a ways to go to re-check and adjust everything.
This is all on me....Ridin' and Ksig did the setting up and the general attribute settings....I was going in to do the fine tuning and faces.
Hopefully, you can tell the players I already did and didn't.

Just get the first RBI and you won't have to hear it again.
Just kidding - it is annoying. I don't know if they fixed that rookie bug this year or made a way to make a created player not a rookie.

Sony has to patch this roster problem. The game is no longer fun. I just played the Yankees and Marcus Thames was there clean up hitter. No fun. They did a great job with these rosters and sony screws them up. 60 Bucks down the drain. Will go back to last year...

Does this mean the Orioles were the last team you fixed, or they're the ones that would have been next?

I downloaded the rosters this morning. There was one player on their minor league roster that I can't find anywhere (Javier Arias). There was a Javier Arias who was with the Detroit minor league system in 2002, but nothing more recent.

can i download this roster file to my flash drive and then load into PS3? i tried last night but didnt work....i am guessing i need to unzip the file on my desktop then transfer the opened file to the flash drive?
