I just wanna add a huge THANK YOU to all the fellas who labored over these rosters!!! THANK YOU for your time, your effort , and your keen eye for detail! I downloaded this roster of Sports Connect. I've been using it in franchise, and so far its been a breeze keeping the rosters up to date when you read the MLB.com transactions page and can actually find the REAL PLAYERS to move! The detail you all put into the likenesses of the players is second to none! Just a GREAT JOB by all the artists involved!

Is V.2 going to have the correct 40-man rosters? I took a quick glance at V.1 and noticed a bunch of mistakes with regards to the 40-man. Forgive my ignorance, but I tried searching the thread and it can back empty.

Yes....I will upload all three classic sets when they are complete.
This first one was a holdover that I never got to for someone last year.
It's a nice odd mix...some great teams...some...ehh...
'72 Mets, '70 O's, '75 Red Sox, '72 Cubs, '71 Pirates(these teams are already complete)...
(these to be completed)...
...'71 Braves,'97 Marlins, '76 Phillies, '74 Expos(Nats), '74 Cards, '74 Brewers, '73 A's, '70 White Sox, '76 Royals, '71 Giants, '73 Dodgers, '75 Angels, '72 Astros,'72 Tigers, '71 Twins, '70 Yanks, '70 Indians, '78 Blue Jays, '77 Rangers, '99 D-Rays, '95 M's, '70 Pods, '95 Rox and '01 D-Backs....
(please don't ask for a different team for this particular set...like I said...I promised this particular set last year and never finished it...)

The second set...capa is coming up with...I think he is open to suggestions...but I'm aiming for something that goes with the classic stadiums...

Then....the final is a single season re-creation...the 2000 season.

By then..my eyes should be bleeding and I'll need the de-fib.

Based on the 6 classic stadiums, I'd put in for:

54 Giants
61 Reds
61 Senators
64 Cards
64 Phils
60 Pirates

You know me...I am a 1960's guy...would love the other teams to reflect the late 50's through the late 70's with about 1979 the cutoff. I know Puppie's set has some more recent classic teams (1980's - now) so between the 2 sets we classic freaks should be more than happy!

Yes.
I really didn't think that Davis was going to get the call this year.
I figured he had a full year at AAA.
That would have given him another 8-10 points til the call up....so it will be around there.

The Twins called up Luke Hughes today... I think he could get a little bump too. He hit 26 HR in 2008 in the minors. Nothing compared to Ike Davis though.

I love the rosters! Working my way through the lineup workaround so that I can restart my franchise.

Thanks for all of the hard work and can't wait until version 2!
