Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.1
Okay...the lineup glitch is a myth.
There is no such thing as a lineup glitch.....what people are referring to is lineup logic.
They don't want to control the team lineups...yet they expect the CPU to recognize the name Todd Helton and ignore the programming for setting lineups(which it will have to use in year 2010 as well as year 2015 and 2025 in franchise...when Todd Helton is long gone.
Basically, if you don't control team lineups...the CPU is going to shuffle the lineups as IT sees fit.
This will happen with any roster you use.
You can prevent it in the first year of your franchise by setting the teams 40 man rosters to just 25 players(and it won't shuffle)....
As for RTTS....I must admit....I'd never tested in RTTS.
Sorry.

Poor Todd Helton has become such a scape goat for his high OBP.Comment

one thing I've notice (not sure if this has been posted in the "glitch thread" or not, haven't bothered to check since this problem isn't one for me) but if you control all teams you can have 40 guys on the 40-man rosters, you just have to make sure at the end of spring training before you advance to the regular season to put guys back down in AAA/AA/A and when you advance to regular season the lineups won't be screwyComment

Better, thanks.
Hope all is well with you.
I just got home from work(Monday around noon)....and I'll be getting in a little sleep ....then I'll get started straight away on v2 edits.
I'll go with Baltimore and just work through the entire set.
Hopefully...it'll go as smooth as possible.
I will definitely keep you guys up to date with what's happening.
Subypan....yes...that is exactly right.
Thanks for your patience guys.

The Red Sox signed catcher Adalberto Ibarra, who defected from Cuba, for $4.3 million over 5 years. He's expected to be placed on the 40-man roster, but it is yet to be determined which minor league team he'll report to.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.1
Probably should have said something a long time ago but I have all the number edits for players called up since the start of the season on a spread sheet. I was going to post it but the format is not supported so I was lazy and said the hell with it.
I can post it some way if there is any need for it? I would put it in zip format but since I am on a Mac now I dont know how. Also would you want it in the old excel format or the new extension they use?Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.1
Been with KC for awhile, but have not really had the opportunity to sign anyone major just yet. Its not that easy when you are dealing with a big league ball club because other people make the final decisions. Good thing is that I have gotten to see everyone from the West Coast since 05' and scout them while watching us pass on them. I have been to many prospects houses for visits and signability and I have been involved with the signings of Mike Montgomery, Moustakas, John Lamb (mine) and a few others of note. I liked Stanton better than both Mous and Vitters, but the organization didnt feel the way that I did.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.1
Yeah i have to agree Ksig, Stanton has unlimited power potential. Kc has some nice players, of course losing a pitcher like Duffy hurts and Eric Hosmer has not started well but overall Kc has a nice system. My issue with KC is fundamentals, which isnt scouting of course but hopefully with Mike Arbuckle that helped create the core in Philly, KC will have better luck developing.Comment
