Hey Devils ,
Everything is player for player and and if you call a AA player for most part you have to drop a player to the AA .
Also if you drop a MLB player to the minors remove him off the 25 man roster option.

EX: on trades Burrell was picked up by SF and I still had him on TB so i traded him to SF and exchanged him with the lowest scrub prospect .
But when trading the players will always go on the MLB rosters so you will have to make adjustment and NEVER hit lineup logic as alot are hit and miss.

Hey thanks for the help doris. Do you know what happens if you accidently have two guys in the majors w/ the same # by accident, like does the game change the most recent one that you assigned? like say in my transactions i called up a player that had #10....it wouldn't knock chipper jones number off of 10 would it...i've just always wondered how the game handles this, but i really can't tell unless i play a game where i could see if it defaults to the next closest number, but i don't know how it figures which one to change

When I call a guy up I double check their number by going into lineups and rotations and scroll for Duplicates thru all 3 team level MLB, AAA, AA .
If I find one I go in and change it on the minors player and make 0 , 99 or something high .
If you have a trouble with a Number not sticking Big Shmooz gave me a tip that may work by dropping the said player to the minors and then try changing the number again and then call him back up .
But remember to always check in game to verify the change as I believe its says in the player edit screen preferred number not guranteed lol .

Hey dorismary, and hopes of you and Brunnoce getting together and making a set with say the first round (or top 10-15) players from the draft the other day? Maybe just stick the guys in A ball so you still have accurate AA and AAA rosters and lineups/rotations.

Just an idea. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking to have Harper, Machado, Taillon, Pomeranz, etc. to mess around with in Franchise.

Padres...

Matt Latos (starting pitcher) wears a black glove main color & second color & navy blue laces. Natural grain bat barel color & light stained bat handle color.

Adrian Gonzalez wears a tan glove all three colors, wrist tape on both wrists, Only right armband has # The left one has no number, both sleeves above elbow. (actually it's below but if you put it below you won't be able to maintain the armbands) He has a light stained bat handle. He has a shin guard.

Nick Hundley uses a natural grain bat handle & bat tape spiral.

Chris Denorfia wears a left armband.

Tony Gwynn uses a black bat handle with no bat tape. His wristbands are thin. (nike logo, but no number)


Ny Mets...

Johan Santana uses a natural grain bat both colors.

Baltimore Orioles...

Cesar Izturis uses a tan glove main color, tan second color & black laces.

So are you updating the minor league guys as they are called up or are the minor leaguers basically generic in stances, deliveries, equipment, and appearance? I guess what I'm wondering is as the real MLB season progresses, do the 40 man rosters become more accurate and detailed with all the guys being called up and so forth on your rosters? I know you don't edit every minor leaguer, but I'm wondering if the guys that get called up get complete makeovers.

Minor league players are adjusted as they are called up to the bigs .
Now the minor league players are there but ALL OF THE FOCUS is on the Majors .
Minors to me are nothing more than a FA pool as use these for 1 year at a time and not muliple seasons .

And yes as the real mlb 10 season has went along with injuries , callups ect my 25/40 man has become deeper with more detail and will continue as the season goes.

Thanks D. I was hoping to see that they were becoming deeper because I'm a fan of 40 man rosters and multiple seasons myself, but I love the detail and accuracy of your rosters.
