    Re: All-Timers Teams

I have A-Rod on Seattle's squad as their SS, but haven't gotten to them yet. The Yankees were stacked and the Mariners could use him more, so I have him there. You haven't missed him.

I will post here when I decide to upload them. I have 4 more teams in the AL to do, so I'll probably post that half when I wrap the AL up and before I start on the NL just to start the feedback process so that I can make changes, etc. to stances/deliveries that aren't right (which I'm sure there is plenty of).

Thanks. I hope so. This is a grueling process. I don't know how Knight and some of the other guys make more than one roster a year. They must be machines.

I've got about 4 more players for Seattle to do, but the roster is newly set, so I'll go ahead and post it...I have the third of 3 straight 12 hour shifts tomorrow, so I probably won't start on the Texas Rangers until Tuesday...

                  SP Felix Hernandez

                  SP Mark Langston

                  2B Bret Boone
                  2B Harold Reynolds
                  2B Jose Lopez
                  SS Alex Rodriguez
                  3B Edgar Martinez

                  OF Phil Bradley
                  OF Jay Buhner

Yes, I originally had Randy Johnson on this squad, but I moved him over to the D-Backs...and I'm still seriously considering putting Nolan Ryan on The Rangers...

                    Re: All-Timers Teams

Moved Nolan Ryan from Los Angeles Angels to Texas Rangers...I know he spent longer time and achieved a lot with the Angels, but it fits better for the rosters. Tommy John, a man who had his best years with the Yankees and Dodgers (neither of which I could fit him in), is Ryan's replacement with the Angels.

Not quite done with the Rangers, but just a few more players to go and should be done by tonight or tomorrow...

                      Re: All-Timers Teams

The AL version of this is in the vault now (7/9/10). It's called "AllTimersV1.0ALonly"

I would appreciate some feedback as there's some things that I know need correcting, which I will do after I complete the NL...I haven't gone into depth on stances/deliveries just yet. I also think that as I went along, I started getting more used to the edit tools, so some guys' faces may be off a little in the earlier teams.

Anyway, I'm starting on the Atlanta Braves next...

I downloaded these today and I realy like them. You really are talented with the faces, I played with the Rangers earlier and you absolutely nailed raffy and Juan Gone's face. Great stuff....

                          Re: All-Timers Teams

Thanks! I spent a lot of time on faces. I was hoping they'd be at least passable, but I'm glad that at least some of the guys look good.

There are more shifts in teams to come. I will probably stick Erik Hanson on the Mariners in place of Pineiro and I already movied Orlando Hudson to the D-Backs...'cause they're like the Rays. Not a lot of history there and I feel he could be a starter there instead of Alomar's backup on the Blue Jays. Aaron Hill has been moved back onto the Blue Jays.

Nolan Ryan could still end up back on the Angels. I change my mind every day. Probably will not end up on the Astros, though.

I start full tilt on the NL tomorrow when I've had some sleep. Just worked two more 12-hour shifts. I have decided that once I'm done with 25-man rosters, I will expand them all to 40-man rosters and then I'll be done. They'll probably be more pitcher-heavy if some people don't like the 10-pitcher rosters. I've never been a fan of the 12 and 13 pitcher rosters of today...

Anyways, thanks for some feedback, both here and online through PS3...I just hope I can get this done before MLB The Show '11

DL'd these last night, checked out the rosters and then played about half a game with KC vs TX. Hamilton hit a 440' bomb against me and Juan Gone hit one 436', ouch! Enjoyed it and definitely will be playing more. Looking forward to taking the Giants in to the Polo Grounds.

Like the rosters, going to have a game soon, one comment I would have though is I think Carl Yastrzemski is under rated compared to some of the others in the other line ups, I think he needs to be as high as Ted Williams. He was an 18 time all star, HOF and triple crown winner.

Apart from that nice rosters I look forward to the NL rosters, good work.
