Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.2
Yeah, I'm really loving the pitch edits too. The game plays like it was meant for these edits all along. I'm finally getting realistic box scores and balance without touching the sliders.
I'm still not entirely sold on starter stamina, but reliever stamina is perfect. After V4 comes out, I might change the starter stamina on my own. But I really love the pitch edits, they've completely changed the game for the better. Thanks again to all involved.

Also as another alternative for the guys that do not like the stamina edits look at what bahnzo's ratings tool puts out and tell me if you prefer those. If you do when JaSnake edits I could just tell him to put out one version with the roster tools stamina edits for starters only in and another with Rod_Carew's stamina formulas. My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment

If you don't mind try the game out a bit with the slider tweaks that I posted on the previous page. I think you'll enjoy it.

I went six with Jon Lester, giving up 3 ER and a walk, which was fine but I consider myself a pretty good pitcher. The Yankees just have a jacked up offense.(No hypocrisy here!!)
Personally, I would like very much if JaSnake released a version with starter stamina edits, as currently the game plays perfectly for me on All-Star with default sliders except for the starters wearing down easily... really, it's amazing how realistic it is with the pitch edits. But that's really up to you guys. I'm very much looking forward to version 4 either way, as I'll finally be able to start my RTTS and franchise.Comment

To be honest, he probably has, on default. Like I and others have. I LOVE the pitch edits, but I wasn't having issues with stamina in my game.
That being said, all I want to do is edit the stamina in the sliders to fix the editing issue. I don't need more walks or pitches thrown - I do that on my own by strategy when I'm at the dish.Comment

Great news, Strut! Looking forward to it. I hope you used Jack Wilson for Marco Scutaro, that's the stance change I'm most passionate about. But I really like your work, should be fun to check out once it's done.Comment

I'm not using Knight's set, but I use a slight modification of Rod's formula for myself. This is what I have in terms of sliders (Just posting the ones relevant to the issue):
Starter Stamina (User): 6
Reliever Stamina (User): 3
Starter Stamina (CPU): 7
Reliever Stamina (CPU): 5 (default)
Manager Hook (CPU): 3
That's what works for me, but I also like the lowered stamina as a whole. It might give an idea at least of how to go about the changes at least.
If you are looking to get more towards default SCEA stamina, I'd probably go higher on the stamina all the way around (probably skip over 8 and go straight to 9 or 10).Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.2
I have noticed that these pitch edits have done a decent job inflating ERA in simmed games in comparison to V2. Here's my evidence:
As of right now, there are 25 major league pitchers with ERA's under 3. I have simmed 10 or so seasons up until this point with each v3 and v2, and with v3, I am lucky to ever get over 12 pitchers with an ERA under 3. With v2, I get around 25. Everytime. And this was with the slider adjustments for v3. I think the stamina issues are going to have a lot more influence in the long run of a season. I appreciate the work, but I am going back to v2.Comment
