I like the current team so far, they look pretty stacked this year. Reddick, Cespdes, Donaldson and Moss haven't hit a lick yet, but Coco, Lowrie and a few others are on fire right now.

When they're done, I'll load them up online.

Great year for baseball though, and hopefully you can upload or email me the set when they're done?

My god Jeff Ballard! I picked him up off of waivers in my rotisserie baseball league that year and rode him and his what...18 wins that year? What a one year wonder he was. Pure junk baller.

I had also snagged Kevin Brown...I think that was the first year he got on the radar....also snagged Carlos Baerga, Hal Morris for my taxi squad for a buck each.

I ruled rotisserie baseball that year.

Oh yeah, a little heads up on these.......

I'm starting off with the '88 rosters first, switching them over to '89 and '90 shouldn't be too hard to do afterwards. Sorry about that to the Orioles fan, but they'll be horrible in the '88 set, '89 should be better.

1988....Dodgers Chise. I loved that season they had. Orel Hershiser (The Bulldog) was just dominant. See If I can repeat history.

I remember exactly where I was when Gibson hit the HR. I was at a Jai
lai fronton and watching the game at the sports bar....I remember that hit like yesterday. One of the greatest baseball moments I have ever seen.

Yeah ole Ballard got figured out quick after that year. I remember playing with them on RBI Baseball 2 when that came out.

Was it the 88 O's that started 1-26 or something awful like that?

I remember them being bad, but not 0-21 bad. 1-23 to start the season won't get you that far. '89 was a pretty good year for them though.

R.B.I. Baseball was a great game by the way! Spent many hours playing that way back when. I think Sportstalk on Genesis was the next big one I played.

Will the Thrill. I can't wait. "...Super man has done it again!.."

I have not noticed a solid stance for him, but I hope one exists...

The Aparicio and Travis Buck were the closest ones in previous versions. I haven't checked around to see if there's a better one out there. Right now I think I've got the Buck stance for him.

I started this thread three years ago for The Show '10. Instead of making a new thread, I just continued on with this one for the new one I'm doing.

These new ones are for the Show '13. I'm starting off with the 1988 roster, '89 will be done not very long after '88. If need be I can do a '90 with mainly the same players.

I'm doing the '88 kind of from scratch, but I've got all of the proper ratings from '89 and '90 from old versions I've done. Transferring them over to later years shouldn't take that long.

Just a quick heads up to show progress:

If the guy is yellowed out, he is completely done

If he's green, he's all done except for his 1988 ratings put in

Light yellow mean he still needs his face and stats put it

Grey means he's not on the roster yet

All players have their equipment/repertoire/stance set

Still have a lot of faces to do, and then have to change their stats from '89 (which I already put it) to '88.

I'm almost done getting cleats the right color

After all that, I'll delete all current fake guys.

Still have a ways to go, but I'm plugging along daily.
