Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
1988 is all 88 teams...also not complete...will probably be the most thorough set by the time im done though as im doing 40-man and American Association AAA rosters for each team...from here ill be using them as a base and moving back toward 1980...this and going forward with pjsnell on these yearly ones till 1996 or so since knight's 2000 set will probably be better to use as a base (with his permission of course) for 97-05ish yearly setsComment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
does this version correct the retired number issue? for instance when I last played (its been a while) Cal Ripken was wearing #11 in my franchise.
Will this version correct that issue? If so are these found on the Vault?

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Retired #'s will only work in exhibition games, so when you use classic rosters in Season or Franchise mode you'll get mixed #'s for those players like you mentioned. This goes for all classic rosters that contain retired players, too, not just these.

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Couldn't figure out how to send them over a PM, but here is the started 1991 roster. Ryan is going to take over on these.
- Nearly all players are created and on the right team and on 40 man roster
- most new player faces aren't done
-Most shoes are done, tons aren't though
-Equipment hasn't been changed from '90/ player #'s need update
-player ratings haven't changed from '90
Still a lot of work to be done to be complete.Attached FilesComment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
I think Ryan was still working on them. I actually pm'ed and asked how the update for '88 was going, hadn't heard anything back yet. I don't think the finished version was completed yet.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Thanks for putting the 1990 rosters here. I can't wait to try these. 1990 was a fun year for me as a White Sox fan. Young team that would've benefitted from the wild card. However it was Old Comiskey Park's final year. I really hope they put that park in as DLC.
P.S. Where is the 1987 roster? I'm not online so if you could post it here, that would be great. Thanks and keep up the great work.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
The 1990 file would be perfect if Smoltz and Moyer were re-created, I wish I was at least decent at making faces and that type of stuff.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Yeah I agree, just got a little lazy, I think Vizquel was the third guy in there. At the time I was just a little drained and left the current players in there. Think the only one I updated was Griffey Jr. cause he is about 30 lbs heavier than he was back then.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
No rush. I thought they were done, but I read incorrectly. I am looking forward to the 88 set as the Mets were a solid club that year, but were done in by the Dodgers in the playoffs.Currently Playing:
