Well it looks like Cubit has done exactly what I was going to do. I'm gonna DL it, look it over, and make sure the numbers line up with what I had. Hopefully he saved us all some time.

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Just to clarify.....Cubit's stamina edits are going to become V4.1 you were going to work on once you look at them and compare them to your numbers, or will you be releasing a separate file from his? It's nice to have all these different roster options, but it can get a little confusing trying to figure out which rosters I'm looking for to begin a franchise. LOLComment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
It'll all be clear when we post the final product. Basically, Cubit did what I was starting to do. I am going to double check most of it and make sure the numbers line up before I send it to JaSnake and TD, who will then add their changes and release it as v4.1.
WELL, it looks like the numbers aren't lining up. Cubit, how did you get these stamina numbers? They aren't matching up with Bahnzo's. Were you using the weighted rating?Last edited by Dean3790; 06-28-2010, 11:53 PM.Comment

For every pitcher, I used the career rating.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Okay, this is getting massively confusing. Here is what I am going to do:
- Change stamina of STARTING PITCHERS only using Bahnzo's tool.
- If the starter has a higher stamina in v4 than according to Bahnzo's tool, I am going to leave it. I will not decrease anyone's stamina, only increase (this is because some of these guys are starters, who, because of their time in the bullpen, may have lower innings pitched than what their actual stamina level should permit [i.e. Fernando Nieve]).
- Once I am done doing all the starting pitchers with lower stamina ratings than Bahnzo's numbers, I will send it to TD and JaSnake and they can do what they want from there.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I did, except for RP and CP in addition to the starters. I used the career rating checkbox in Bohnzo's tool to generate the stamina ratings for each pitcher. If it was a higher stamina than what was in the roster, I changed it to the higher stamina. If Bohnzo's tool gave a lower stamina, I left the stamina as is in the roster. I decided I would much rather error on the side of a few points too high when it comes to stamina.
edit: sorry for any confusion.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Some starters might have slipped through the cracks if they have changed teams since opening day. Could someone provide me with a list of starting pitchers that have changed teams since opening day?
EDIT- actually, maybe not. I think Bahnzo's tool counts everyone that pitched for a team at all during the year. A list could help too though, to double check.Comment

Only thing I've noticed is that you guys have Todd Helton with a glove on his right hand, but he's a lefty.
Loving these rosters; play great so far in my franchise. Had a no-no going with De La Rosa against the Padres before Gwynn Jr. broke it up in the 6th with a bunt! Hudler (I forgot to turn him off) went nuts, talking about how Gwynn Jr. broke baseball etiquette by laying down that bunt. Wound up going 7.2 innings, giving up just 2 hits and striking out 8 in a 2-0 victory.Currently Playing:

I am done with the AL and 4 NL teams. I only have 12 teams left, so I should finish tomorrow evening after work. After that, I think TD and Snake only have some minor changes, so things should be working out pretty well and we should have v4.1 out relatively soon.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
great i'll hold out from starting a season until 4.1 is out =D
but can you confirm if the rosters gonna have Fred Lewis on the Blue Jays and Dana Eveland is removed?
The V4 MinorFix that I downloaded did not have the proper Jays lineup....im afraid the other teams were way behind too cuz Fred Lewis was still in San Francisco :SComment

Kiboshed v2/3/4 are all opening day rosters, and as of OD, Fred Lewis was still with the Giants (traded April 15), and Dana Eveland was with the Jays

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Do you know if anyone is going to do a franchise file for those of us who don't
want to or can't figure out how to start the regular season with all the correct opening day rosters? I assume even v4.1 will be opening day rosters.
I'm still a little unsure of what happens if I start a franchise and only choose
the Yankees. Does the cpu make up it's own lineups based on how well
they did in spring training? Does it still bat -AROD 3rd and Tex cleanup?
How badly does it actually screw up the lineups? Or does it do stuff like
retire Jeter or put him CF or something?
very curious,
