I'm working extremely hard on completeing my pitch edits and when I do I'll release em in the vault. Right now, what I have done is available in spreadsheet form in my thread entitled "My Pitch Edits". I just finished and released the Pirates yesterday in fact.

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
What does these franchise files do that were asked about - what are their purpose? Also, how accurate are the minors rosters - and what is the title of the latest to download since there are so many?
I know on the one I downloaded, David Mixon wasn't on the Giants' AA team. He is their top pitcher and in the top 8 in the Eastern League. He's from the place I live, so I was just wondering how the minor rosters worked. I appreciate any input. I got the game Sunday, and I have no idea what I am doing.
Thank you!Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
I'm using my starter stamina at 7 and reliever at the default 5 for both user and cpu. Some people say they get good enough results at 5, but I think 7 is best, especially if you are using lower-end starters.Comment

sweet, thanks for the response...at this point i'm deciding to lock in with what i have. osfullminorsV4 rosters, with minor adjustments to starters stamina (based off of cubits staminaedits roster) up the starter stamina slider to 7 and off i go on a franchise ( using hustlinowl franchise file) pretty sure things will work out ok with all of that meshed together!!!! Or so i hope...MLB: Chicago Cubs

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
It depends on what you mean by accurate. This set is based off of opening day still, so they (lineups and rotations) will be accurate as to how opening day was set. If you meant up-to-date accurate, then no, but I do wish there was somebody that updated the rosters up-to-date.Comment

No. Opening Day Rosters. Use 30-team control with most options set to AUTO, then go in and fix all the teams' lineups and pitching rotations to how you think they should be, switch the option back to AUTO (or leave it if you want to make daily moves) and you'll be good to go.Currently Playing:

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
this might explain something to me personally... playing with scea rosters right out of box from MLB10 was released, to transitioning to when rosters w/ razr edits, i didnt find the various fastballs harder to hit.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
This is correct. TD has the file and shot me a text that he is already working on it. There is no ETA but dont read into that like it means a month from now cause it wont be. Itll be done when its done. When he is finished it is coming back to me for final "touch ups" unrelated to stamina. All changes that I make I will post so anyone with v4 can update their file accordingly if they wish without interupting their franchise or changing the pitching staminas. There will be no gross changes that will impact gameplay significantly that I make.
Note to self, IF I do this again next year with 2 versions like this try to have them done simultaneously to make life easy on everyone especially myself LOL.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Hey guys,
I decided to download these rosters, but the amount of A players kind of scared me off so I decided I wanted to make a "ghetto" version, with all the rankings that bwere in this set, but with faces done as they get called up to the majors, but all this copying down is kind of tedious and I still have SO much more to do, so I just wanted to ask a question:
Even though there is alot of A potentials, does that mean all them will become 100 overalls(that's what scares me, I don't want a league full of MANY 100 overalls)? I have no problem 30 team controlling to keep costs down, my concern is that the league will be too good with all the A's. thank you guys.Comment

re: MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)
Yes I agree. After playing a bunch of games before V3, I was telling my buddies that it seems like in this years edition, the 4 seamer has some break to it. I figured that the pitch edits wouldn't alter too much to what SCEA already had, but there are a lot of changes. I think that the 4 seamer is the most popular pitch among all pitchers in MLB, and that is why SCEA implemented it into almost every pitcher. I watch every Pirate game I can get to, and the only pitchers on the team that do not have a pretty straight fastball are Ohlendorf and Carrasco. The 4 seam fastball is almost extinct on V3 and V4 lol.Comment
