All DL players are off the 40 team roster. You have to look at the rosters for all teams in the organization and call them back up. I didnt see the issue with the free agents locking up, i'll have to try it.

Freese is still on the main rosters.
Look under all for your specific team.
I was unable to get it to lock up in the free agents screen, but Freese is definitely there just not on the 40 man roster. You have to add him back since he's on the DL and cant play.

Have a problem and a question I hope you or someone else can help me with. I've moved some guys up and down on various teams. Now I get a message that says Milwaukee's Triple A roster has an invalid pitching rotation and wants to know if I want the CPU to auto fix the problem. If I allow this will it mess up lineups and rosters with other teams?

Dont ever let it auto fix rosters. Fix them yourself.

Here's the thing...there's 5 starting pitchers already on their Triple A roster. How could their pitching rotation be invalid?

Verify the relievers as well. I always keep this rule when making changes, if I remove a player from AAA to MLB, always move a player from MLB to AAA. Also,
I try to do pitcher for pitcher, position for position, etc.

Where can I go to see which guys to bring up? I tried adding guys that were good in A ball to the 40 man then ending ST and they were not called up. Will the computer eventually do it, or should I do it myself when I find out who goes where? What I mean is should I start a 30 team franchise with these, end Spring Training, then call guys up? I just want to start a franchise in this game already haha

I always keep the 40 man rosters at 25, doing this will prevent the computer from screwing with the lineups after you complete spring training.

Ahhh I got you. What do you do about star players on the DL? Just add them to the 40 man, or you put them in their respective lineup spot?

I pull them off the 40 man, and put them where their replacement was.

Slax - did you adjust stamina and pitch edits on this release?

Reason I'm asking is that these rosters are pretty freaking awesome and I thought I was reading about 4.0 having stamina issues and too many sinkers.... and I'm not seeing either in this set. Pitchers are going deep into games and I haven't really seen any thing off as far as pitching repertoires are concerned.

These are the stock OSFM 4.0 full minors. I did not adjust stamina, nor have I seen issues with it.
