There will definitely be a few callups that you guys who are fans of certain teams will notice. I did not get a chance to fine tooth comb everything and some guys I just left on the team if they were sent somewhere and ended up nowhere. Call ups I tried to get as many people as possible but the computer has a funny way of doing things and like I said power is the biggest factor which at times sends down the wrong guy and I didn't have enough time to check everyone. I did try to make starting lineups very accurate. Also, do remember that opening day ones are coming. There is a lot of free agent stuff happening off season that I will get to which means even more A league players will be moved to wrong teams on the opening day ones

you realize that RFB means Running Fastball not Rising Fastball right?...big difference...perfect example is AJ Burnett on the yanks...his fastball is a Running fastball, but someone like Jon Garland, is a 2seam fastball...i see the 2seamer in this game used more like a sinker and and hard throwing sinker in the game is for someone who has that "heavy ball"...i dont see how a sinker can be thrown no harder then 92 or else it would be a 2seamer...this is coming from someone who actually played in the minor leagues..Comment

Actually, AJ Burnett I gave a running fastball as his ball is almost 8.5 vertically on average on Pitch F/X. They also show him throwing a sinker so I left it at that and then did his break accordingly for the sinker. So if he throws a 2 seam that is not what Pitch F/X is showing so he might hold it like a traditional sinker. Trust me dude I did my homework on this but am open to suggestions and criticism. Garland also got a running fastball because vertically it is almost like for like with AJ's and he got a sinker also as that is what they list but his is indeed a bit slower.
I also clarified this a bit ago. I use running most of the time but sometimes slip rising as it appears like that to the batter at times. As on pitch F/X if their pitch stayed above 7 vertically I gave them a running fastball to differentiate between the guys that have heavy sink (say a 2 vertically and a lot of horizontal movement.
Otherwise you get guys with actual 2 seams with a lot of horizontal movement and how are you to differentiate this between guys with more upward motion and lots of horizontal movement. You cannot. IMO the running fastball should be as it is in real life, curving slightly downward and the 2 seam even more so. This is what they should do for MLB 11 as well as giving a second option for Vertical and Horizontal movement. As I said before let me know if you disagree on things.
Also, I don't understand why you guys are already crying for new rosters. It's frickin' December make the moves yourself you lazy bums. I said I would have opening day ones ready when the time comes. i see what your saying and appreciate the time and effort that your putting in this...im in no shape of form trying to downplay your rosters...im just saying, im from ny, i watch aj burnett pitch, his fastball does not rise more often then not...if anything, it runs into a right handed batter..Comment

Holy crap, dude. Calm down. ONE guy politely asked if anyone had a version with rosters updated to that day. Which is reasonable considering the Jayson Werth, Adrian Gonzalez, and Carl Crawford deals happened. The guy didn't scream at you directly to update the stuff. You need to chill the hell out.Comment

You chill out dude. What in the heck makes you think I am mad or something.
I put a lot of time into these and I don't need someone basically taking these, confusing people as to what is what, and then making a few trades and god knows what else and then putting them out as their own rosters without any due given.
As I said, when the time comes. There is no need to make 5 trades and introduce a whole new roster at this point. When you put 60 plus hours in to rosters you let me know how it feels. I am not mad. I am just fine and calm here dude. I have no clue what you are talking about. Nobody is speaking in caps. I am just saying 5 trades is not that hard for you to do yourself. There will be many many more to come. Why would you want to play on new rosters with 5 or 6 updated trades? Doesn't make any sense and I sure do not condone it.
Anyway, I got my new HDD ready and it installs sooo much faster. 7200 Western Digital 16MB cache is the way to go man. I will have the manual up today sometime.
il blood: yeah, I agree with you. Most guys that seem to rise more do not have a ton of horizontal movement at all and would be more like a 4 seam in THIS game. There were a couple that I did just leave with their 4 seam too.Last edited by khronikos; 12-13-2010, 04:03 AM.Comment

When I upload it only lets me upload one of the files. I put the four links to each component of the file. You can put the files together in the folder named: BCUS98207_ROST_0000000051315026
Put this folder in the SAVEDATA folder and this folder into the PS3 folder and you should be good to go. Sorry if there was another way but this should be fine.

I've also started work on the opening day rosters though I am sure most people will be getting the new game when it drops. I would be too but I don't even feel I have gotten the 53 worth of the game I paid for this one. I haven't even started RTTS lol. I guess I am just not that into these games to shell out those kind of bucks. It'll be interesting to see what they can really do to actually earn that money. I am not concerned about player models rather than the animation, jaggies, framerate, bugs, and stadium accuracy. Of course the Twins are planning multiple improvements so I don't even think those will be in for the new game which would definitely put me off until 2012. At that point we are getting into PS4 territory so this very well could be my last baseball game for the PS3. I had a lot of fun so I hope people enjoy these rosters it was a lot of cumulative work.
