I already started a season so what would happen if I loaded these rosters?

Great rosters! The only thing I would say is some of the secondary positions for some players are off. I'm not sure if your aware that some players have hidden secondary positions. For example Howard has LF,RF as a secondary...we know the Phillies would ever throw him in the OF.

This is just updated 40-man rosters and not a franchise file like Knight's minor league rosters?

What did I do wrong? The rosters I got from this thread aren't up-to-date. Still has Francouer on the Rangers and others not on the right teams. Hmm!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD READ THE FIRST PAGE ON THE THREAD.

THIS IS 4.3 ROSTERS END OF THE SEASON WITH ALL THE CRAP THAT WAS WRONG WITH THEM (player ratings, defensive ratings, trades until EOS, no Pitch F/X, etc) FIXED. THIS IS NOT AN OFFSEASON ROSTER AS THE OFFSEASON TRADES ARE STILL COMMENCING.

I AM MAKING AN UPDATED ROSTER WHEN THE SEASON STARTS! IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE FEW TRADES THAT HAVE BEEN DONE FEEL FREE TO DO SO. I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO FOR THE TIME BEING.

And yes, I did not cover all the secondary positions. I was too bored out of my mind with all the stat processing though I did get to a lot of them.

Yeah, I am constantly updating my own rosters and I understand how tedious and mind numbing of a process it can become. I like your ratings for the players though. I can tell you clearly spent some time on this.

Gotcha but no need for the yelling and CAPS! You've blasted out at people too many times in this thread dude! That's not a good way to be noticed with your work.

I have not blasted out at anyone. I am simply trying to tell people that I think skip over the most fundamental details so they don't skip over anything and get the point more clearly. It has BEEN CLEARLY stated on the first page of the thread and throughout the thread what people can expect. If they have not bothered to read the thread they might as well not bother to post with ridiculous needs and wants that are clearly being addressed at a later date. The whining gets on my nerves.

Let me get a few of your posts quoted here:

Also, I don't understand why you guys are already crying for new rosters. It's frickin' December make the moves yourself you lazy bums. I said I would have opening day ones ready when the time comes. You realize how many more moves are going to be made between now and then. Geeez.
You chill out dude. What in the heck makes you think I am mad or something.

Let's just let this go. You just come off sounding rude and harsh at times. I was just trying to make a point in acting this way doesn't get you any credibility with your work. That's all. I'm done with it!

I can see where he is coming from. I've done roster work in the past where people asked the same questions over and over when it was clearly outlined and answered on the first page of the thread. I think that people who have never put their blood, sweat and tears in roster editing would understand the frustration.

The internet is a weird place. Someone could be trying to be helpful and concise but it comes off as condescending when usually, that's not the intent. Tone is a tough thing to gauge on a forum, so I usually don't try and make judgments one or the other on what another person is saying. Therefore, I never really take offense unless it's just blatant disrespect. I'd hope others do the same.

I've done quite a bit of roster work on these forums as well. Go back and check my history here. I know how hard it can be sometimes. People do get a bit testy at times. I was just trying to let him realize that he sure seemed to come off in a hateful manner.

I'm all good now and ready to move on. I appreciate all work that's done for these forums. I stopped doing roster work myself a year or so ago.

Are the sliders you posted meant to work with your rosters, or will they work with any set of rosters?

Well, they should work for any sliders. Nobody should have CPU stamina above zero and there is no question or argument about it unless you have made the top pitcher's stamina in the range of say 65 or so. The rest of the things should work just fine with any rosters and the suggested numbers should remain the same no matter what. How you bat and what not is up to you but I think the game is just plain unrealistic above all star batting with these rosters.

Again, sorry for coming off mad but I am not. All that hard work is behind me. It is really irritating for people to come in asking for updated rosters when I have said many many times they are coming later on when things in the actual league are closer to being finished. There is way too much stuff still being done to just play a season with half baked rosters. I'm still living in 2010 anyway.

And this stuff is ridiculously time consuming and not fun at all. I guess it is a little fun but that mostly disappears when you realize how much work it actually takes to do this right. Most people just DL these things and go hey, pretty cool. Well, the combined hours of this roster I know for a fact is over 200 with 60 plus coming from me alone. It's not like I am asking people to give me compliments and bow at my feet. But there is a thing called a first page to the thread and it would be nice if you would go there first before blindly coming in here and asking questions.
