These are the sliders I use for batting. They are flawless, you tha man!!!!

I find you can enjoy the k-zone too much with the pitching ones, so I amped up the cpu power, and pulled back their contact. This way mistakes in the zone are hammered, but they don't drive things out of the zone, rather they swing and miss.

Major props to you for this roster! I've been trying all different versions of OSFM and Knight's rosters. Also trying default sliders, differing difficulty level, PsychoBulk's sliders, etc.

I decided to try yours with hitting at all-star and pitching at HoF and your sliders and this plays GREAT. It feels so natural to me. The bad teams are not THAT hard to beat but it does take work, especially pitching and the even/better teams are a good to great but not IMPOSSIBLE challenge like with some of the other rosters I've tried (playing as the Phillies).
      What would Doc do?

Re: OSFM 2010 OVERHAUL is complete!

Hey, thanks, I tried. As for the pitching I have it the way I do because of certain factors related to ratings. I felt that at times when pitchers were tiring I would pitch a pitch that was suggested and it would be right on the mark and a guy would too often crank it in to the seats. So I did give myself a bit of leeway here but again to ME it is not excessive but I don't play every day or anything. I am sure some people are better or worse. Glad to see some people are enjoying these.

I was not obviously able to test out everybody but pitchers did get a bit harder to hit and this is why batting is pumped up to the levels it is. It might seem excessive but I really don't think it is at all with the new ratings for the players I have implemented. I tried to find a good balance so let me know what you think.

As for the manager hook stat I am not sure I have that at 3 anymore. It might be 4 not sure as I have taken a break for a bit from this getting ready for college and playing other games. I did notice this one is also highly variable. Some guys stay in too long, some just right, etc.

I think I have graduated from these hitting sliders. I am hitting the piss out of the ball, and I have been for 19 games now. I am going to try the hitting sliders on Hall of Fame level for the last third of the season. I'll let you know how terribly I tail off.

LOL, I am sure some people will be driving the ball pretty well. I don't play very often so they are pretty much set for casual play with a friend. I don't even finish 9 innings a lot of the time anymore. Of course stepping up to HoF will change that. It depends also what pitchers you are playing against. I usually play my games against the best pitchers so I give myself a bit of leeway or it gets tough. Instead of changing the sliders though I would just recommend stepping up the level as you did for anybody else that is hitting too easily. I feel they are about right for a medium setting at least imo. Of course I play with the Twins so teams also make a difference.

Also, the Twins are a pretty offensive team in many ways as well as defensive. When their lineup is healthy, and other teams like them, you should be hitting the piss out of the ball. No shame in that. But if it does get too easy you can actually use those two levels up instead of staring at them like they are ridiculous. And they are imo at default settings.

Hi, the rosters aren't working for me. I'm sorry, but I don't understand what I am supposed to do exactly. Could you please give a step by step tutorial on how to manually add rosters? NOTE: What I did was create a "PS3" folder and then a "SAVEDATA" followed by a "BCUS98207_ROST_0000000051315026" folder, and then i stuffed the 4 files into "BCUS98207_ROST_0000000051315026" and then loaded them into a USB. I plugged the USB into my PS3 but no files are detected. Could you please tell me how to get it to work? Thanks.

PS3 folder should be first, then the SAVEDATA, then the other one with the 4 files in it. Access these by USB in the Save Data Utility Icon in the XMB.

I'm not even sure you have to name the 3rd folder the BCU or whatever I do that because that is what The Show had.

make sure your USB drive is in the FAT32 format...not NTFS.

I'll update those DL links as I have had a few messages about that. I will not be updating rosters anymore though. I put Nishioka in with the twins and that is about it. I don't have any more time and most are going to be waiting for 12 which imo better be an awesome game with necessary changes in stadiums, players, attributes, etc. See ya.
