Re: MLB 11 New York Yankees Player Edits Thread
Funny that you suggest a knuckle curve, because that's actually what I went with and thought it was perfect. I forgot that I asked about it here though so I never posted it until I just remembered now.
So yeah, knuckle curve works best for Burnett for sure.Last edited by MrMVP91; 06-13-2011, 08:23 PM.Comment

Does anyone have anything for Brian Gordon ? Pitches, motions, etc. anything would be helpful. Trying to get a CAP up on him by early tmrw, but I don't have anything on him yet.Comment

Re: MLB 11 New York Yankees Player Edits Thread
Heres all that I've found so far:
Mud Hens blog -- May 10, 2011
"Here's a scouting report on RHP Brian Gordon, who threw 15 pitches, including 10 strikes, in the first inning. Gordon's fastball sat at 88-91 mph (11 of his pitches), with a HUGE separation with his breaking ball -- he threw four, and they all sat between 69-71 mph. The two groundouts he got in the first both came on that pitch."
"Here's a scouting report on Lehigh Valley starter Brian Gordon in the sixth, where he needed six pitches to retire the Hens. His pitch count entering the seventh is 62 pitches, including 45 strikes -- which means he's an even better candidate than Wilk to throw a complete game. Gordon's fastball in the sixth sat at 89-91 mph, and he threw one of his slow curves at 73 mph."

Re: MLB 11 New York Yankees Player Edits Thread
Just posted a Gordon CAP in the vault. The face is not great, and I didn't know the motion to use since i can't find video so I put it as Gen 3, however other then that its pretty accurate as far as the ratings go.
PSN ID is yanksdaniel99
Here is his scouting report
As for the scouting report, Gordon told Jack Curry lasts night that he’s a six pitch pitcher that relies on command more than overpowering stuff. PitchFX data from 2008 says that his three fastballs (four-seamer, two-seamer, cutter) sit in the high-80′s and occasionally touch the low-90′s while his slider will run in low-80′s, his curve in the low-70′s, and his splitter in low-80′s. His swing and miss rate has climbed from 9.3% in 2009 to 10.1% in 2010 to 11.6% in 2011, though his ground ball rate has sat below 40% for the last few years. That could be problematic in Yankee Stadium, although he hasn’t demonstrated much of a platoon split in his relatively brief career as a pitcher.Comment

Anyway someone can post his attributes?"Undaunted, I knew the game was mine to win. Just like in life, ALL of my successes depend on me. I'm the man who has the ball, I'm the man who can throw it faster than heck. So that is why I am better than everyone in the world."

Re: MLB 11 New York Yankees Player Edits Thread
I was looking at Swisher's new stance.
Gen. 18 probably looks the best but its a one-handed follow through.
Gen. 61 is the best one i see that has a two-handed swing.
Problem is, Swish keeps his back elbow low so there really isnt a great match anywhere.
Also, I use Gen. 113 for Robertson.Last edited by SALfromNY; 06-17-2011, 06:46 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 New York Yankees Player Edits Thread
I think Swisher's stance in the game is perfect for him. Most of the Yankees stances are fine as is, the only guy who really needs a completely new stance is Granderson.NY Rangers
