I forgot to mention the low contract thing. Did you notice as you imported players that they all have short contracts for low amounts? I haven't tested this to know if the edited players take the contracts with them, so to speak, or if the contract is associated with the player that is imported over.
It wouldn't take much to correct that. You can just go to the "Player Movement" screen in the "Manage Roster" menu and move the players into and out of one of the free agent lists. Or into and out of another team, I think. Anyways, it generates a new contract that I assume is based on their ability and age and so on. That ought to generate more realistic contracts.
If the contract belongs to the player on the master roster and stays the same even when the edited player is imported, then Sluggbugg will have to modify the contracts. If the contract belongs to the edited player, then each of us editors can change the contract before sending our files to Sluggbugg.
Or, we can choose to skip the contract thing (maybe some players will like the low contracts?) and let people do this on their own when they get the roster. I don't know, just some suggestions.
