Yeah I read that. I wanted confirmation as to whether the CPU will add players to the 40 man on their own as the season progresses. I imagine they would have to for injuries, but wasn't sure what logic it uses. If it is the same as 10, then I will just go through and add every stud prospect to the 40 man to make sure the CPU calls them up. I could care less if that happens right after spring training, just as long as it eventually happens. I would hate to see another year of Strasburg (example only) hanging out in AAA for 2-3 years since he isn't on the 40 man.

If using this roster for a Season instead of a Franchise, is there anything that one must do to have access to the players in the minor leagues as far as injury call ups.

Are you locked into the 25 man, or do you get to the 40 man somehow?

I realize that you cannot look to see if a player is tearing up the AAA pitching and deserves a call up, but how do you make sure the entire roster is there for a season-ending or catastrophic injury?

If your playing a season just make sure you use Knights original OS roster and NOT Owl's 25 man only roster

If you use Owl's version and start the season without adding those 15 guys back to the 40 man you will have ZERO inactive players and will be screwed if you have an injury

Junichi Tazawa is due back in June.

Red Sox placed RHP Junichi Tazawa on the 60-day disabled list with an elbow injury.
The move was made to open a spot on the 40-man roster for Dennys Reyes. Tazawa underwent Tommy John surgery last April and is still a ways away from pitching in games, so his timetable for a return is up in the air at this point. Obviously, the Red Sox aren't expecting him to contribute until at least June, but they hope he can help out at some point this season. Mar. 26 - 3:57 pm et

Awesome, thanks for the tip. Why would one use the 25 man? What would be the benefit/issues with that one as opposed to just using the Knight OSFM rosters?

Im sorrry if this has been asked already. I read through the threads and didnt see it.

How do you "import" any new players to your team that are created buy you guys Knight and uploaded? Can i just add them to the already dl'd OSFM roster?

Further, I think you mentioned there is going to be an update once the minors start or there abouts? How do i dl'd and install that update? Will i need to start a completely new franchise, or will i be able to simply add the update again to the already dl'd OSFM roster?

Any simple instruction on how to do would also help.

Yes, you just have to import them over a player that is in the roster.

Yes, you will have to start over your franchise if you want to use a different roster release.

For the Cincinnati Reds: Alexander Smit is no longer with the team...retired back to Australia(?) last summer. Don't know who to replace him with as I am not on the game right now. Maybe Kyle McCulloch originally from the White Sox org.

Shoot... I'm at work right now and can't access the file, so I don't know who all is on the Indians roster in the file.

I don't know if it helps any, but here is the spreadsheet I initially did for the Indians position players (Weglarz is there with ratings and such, but again, I can upload the player I created for him on the initial roster to the player vault if needed - he would just need the face)

If no other Tribe fans answer before I get home and dl the file, I'll take a look and offer up a suggestion or two.

As far as Baltimore goes, I don't think Drese is on the 40-man roster, but they sent him down to AAA because they liked him enough to keep him around. He's in the AAA Rotation and will probably get called up at some point in the season, is my guess.

I guess I'm just a completist, plus you have David Riske on the O's roster and he opted out from the team. It's not a MUST, by any means, since you guys did such a great job. Just being complete.
