Re: All-Time Classic Roster (Franchise Best Team)
In debating with someone, one of the "cardinal sins" is to tell them what they did or didn't do. I know full well I did not ignore anything you said. If you wish to interpret it that way, your choice, but don't comment on my statements anymore please. I also do not believe I contradicted myself, but can we keep this to roster talk please.Comment

Re: All-Time Classic Roster (Franchise Best Team)
Just a few players left. I could have these done by late tomorrow night, but more likely won't be finished until Thursday.
Bedwardsroy, do you have the "Neyer/James Guide to Pitchers?" I've found a few articles online regarding the pitch repertoire of the top three Sox' pitchers, but I'm not sure about the rest of them. If anything else, I'll just give the remaining pitchers a fairly vanilla (4-seamer, curve, change) pitch selection.Comment

No idea how far back it dates, I've only been there twice. Mostly, it is because I watch DVR-delay of the Braves games, so I usually only hit sites like that up when I am caught up.
Today, still need to see current day's game, so I won't risk going there. Check that out, though, it looked cool with tons of information.Comment

Most of these teams won't have pitch information from Fangraphs. It only goes back a few years, I believe.
I have not been there much, but that "FANGRAPHS" website seemed to have excellent and very thorough information on what pitches have been used.

Re: All-Time Classic Roster (Franchise Best Team)
1990 and 1973 A's, and 1989 Giants are done, (25 man rosters), using all created faces. Soon as PSN is back up I'll upload them. Anyone tried creating a player and getting the real face lately? Tried with Jackson, Hunter and Fingers, couldn't get it to work.

Re: All-Time Classic Roster (Franchise Best Team)
I just tried out Reggie Jackson and it worked for me. However, I did have a prompt when I signed on wanting me to update the software. I skipped that because I thought it might make the real faces stop. Has anyone that has installed new software been able to do the real face?Comment
