Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
oh yea, he is easily one of the top 25 best players in the draft. I'm almost positive that he has been in there since day 1, but I know for a fact he is in there now b/c I was pitching with him a few days ago.Comment

Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
This is what I'm thinking for replacement players go
3B Matt Skole for Josh Tobias
RP Anthony DeScalfani for Tyler Beede
C Tyler Marlette for Kevin Cron
OF Kyle Gaedele for Brett Austin
C Joe Maloney for Derek Fisher
Most of these guys are C or D potential guys with the exception of Marlette who could be a solid average to above average major league catcher so I may go with a B pot for him. If you have a better suggestion or wish for me to include another player then let me know.
All in all, there are easily 100 + draft picks, 2-3 per team, with the exception of a team like the Rays who had 10 top 100 picks or the Yankees (there my favorite team so I added a few more draftees to them). It should be a good set for those guys who like to play a deeper franchise with real guys.
Right now, just going thru potentials to make sure I have the right one for each guy, tweaking some faces, stances, motions etc. to make them more accurate. Waiting for some input to see if there is anything else I need to do, otherwise just gunna do some simming to make sure everything plays out the way I want it too.Comment

Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
For draftees that signed MLB deals and were put on their 40 man roster in real life, should I put them on the 40 man roster or not in the game ? Their are only a few guys like this and Bundy is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.Comment

Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
OSFM Opening Day set is the base. I have all transactions up to 8/2 so all the deadline moves are in there. I'm doing the rest of the transactions that have occurred since then now and the transactions will be as current as the hour before I release the set. In addition, I'm trying to put all the prospects at their current level as well but that may prove to be more difficult but at least I want to get the top prospects at their current levels. All draftees will be put in Single A with the exception of Gray and Bauer who are both in Double A now.

I'm not asking you to do that though. Get most of the draft picks on the correct teams if not all. You could leave a couple of the 40-man roster draft picks in the FA pool if needed. It's up to you as long as you tell which ones so we could add them to teams ourselves.
Just do whatever you can. This looks like a roster set I'm looking for. Ridin provided a trade deadline one but only a select few draft picks were in that one. I'm looking for more like you're doing here. Could you give an estimated release date? Thanks!NCAA- GO VOLS

Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
Just get as many draft picks in the game as possible. For the 40 man roster draft picks, just place them in A or you can even leave some of them in the FA pool. I know Jason on these forums provided a roster set with them in the FA pool. That way we could place them wherever we wanted.

Re: 2011 MLB Draft Class Prospects
Fell asleep while working on rosters last night and didnt get anything done. Working hard to make up the lost time. Sunday release is still on, just a little later in the day then originally planned. I think they should more then likely be up in the next 24 hours, maybe a little longer but definitely this weekend.Comment
