Finished all the draft picks. Tmrw morning I'll be handing off the roster to another user who will do all transactions up to this point and completely accurate 25 man & 40 man rosters. Once hes done, we'll post the roster in the roster vault and soon after that I'll post a link for off-line users. I've never posted a roster for off-line users before so anyone knows how to and can give me a quick step by step rundown on how to it would greatly appreciated.

I've never posted a roster for off-line users before so anyone knows how to and can give me a quick step by step rundown on how to it would greatly appreciated.

Since this a PS3 file it's much easier than doing it for the 360.

Just copy your roster file to a USB flash drive from the PS3. Make sure the drive is formatted for the PS3 by using the format drive utility from the PS3 or you can also do this from PC.

Once you get the roster file on your flash drive, copy it then to your PC. You then have one of two options for uploading the file. You can do one or both. I'd say go ahead & do both. First option is uploading the file to a file-hosting site like MegaUpload or any other of the like. Then, just post the link for the download.

2nd option and the one that will be gotten directly from the forums is post it here in an attachment. When you make a reply there is an attachment button just below the 'additional options' header.

Click on that & you will then be allowed to upload the file directly to the forums. Keep in mind with this option you'll need to zip your file up with either WINZIP or WINRAR programs.

The folder structure should read 'PS3>SAVEDATA>Roster folder name>files'. There should be a total of 5 files inside your roster folder. As long as you copy the file correctly from the PS3 you should have the correct folder structure.

To get the file from PS3 go the "Saved Data Utility" from XMB. Highlight the save & hit triangle button. Select your formatted flash drive as the destination for copying the save. If you have any problems I can help but this will work if you do it right. Thanks!

He's supposed to release it soon. It was slated to be finished today I believe. First available from the vault & then an offline file. I hope to see the offline file soon. This looks to be a great roster to take into franchise mode.

Final touches being put on now. Everything that could have gone wrong today went wrong lol. From car trouble, to forgetting two draftees and then having trouble getting PS3 online due to weather issues causing WiFi problems, day was awful lol. Had to rush work to get it out tonite. Did a simple double check and will do another one after posting it. If you guys notice any mistakes post them and I'll fix them although I'm fairly sure everything should be 100% good to go

My guy who was editing 25 man and 40 man rosters lost connection due to weather issues so I gotta do the rosters for the entire NL minus the Braves. Apologies as I thought the roster would be out much earlier today. I'm not sleeping before I finish the rosters so they will be done tonight, no idea on the time yet though.

Frustration

Right now I'm at a point where after creating a masterpiece and giving to someone I receive said masterpiece back in not so good shape. Prospects on wrong teams, draft picks in MLB, etc not to mention unauthorized adding/editing of players, the roster set that I put hours of work into is in not looking so good. I'm quite frustrated right now. Definitely learned tonight that if you want something done, you better off doing it yourself not giving to others to.

Now onto better news . All transactions are up to date. Most 25 man rosters are correct, give or take a player or two on a few of them. I've corrected all the mistakes I've noticed so hopefully it should be good to go. Roster will drop in a 30 mins or so in the player vault. A short while after I will have the link for the those who are downloading rosters offline. We're almost there !!! lol

I was wondering who you passed the file onto. You need to only deal with creditable people when doing this kind of thing. I didn't wanna ask but I will now. Was it somebody on these forums?

I've done quite a bit of roster work on these forums in the past. I don't do it anymore for various reasons. I know giving the file to someone with little or no experience in this area is a big mistake. Have them show you they can do the work before just allowing them to work on a file. Let them give you some feedback references first.

It takes a certain type of person that knows the stuff involved in roster work. I think I'll just shoot you a PM & let you tell me which member this was. That's if the member comes from these boards. I need to know for future reference.

Don't give his name here because it will cause too much backlash. Anyhow, I see you have an offline file posted so I'll grab it & check it out. I hate you went through this experience but we all have to learn lessons. Thanks again!

Edit: Something isn't right with the offline link. There's only numbers in the file. You have definitely done something wrong. Go back & read my post about how this should be done. This will not work the way the file is right now.

Try uploading it on the forums but you still have done something wrong during the process. You can also send it to me(I'll give you my email) & I can get it uploaded if needed. That's as long as you have done the transfer process right from PS3 to PC. thanks!
