Overall you'll see about 1-5 A potentials each draft.
That's not good really. There certainly are more than 1-5 A potential players from the 2011 draft. I'd settle for B potentials as replacements for the A potential guys though. Did you pay attention to how many B potential players are in the draft? If enough of those I'd be happy with that.
    NCAA- GO VOLS
    NBA- GO CELTICS
    MLB- GO BRAVES
    NFL- GO COWBOYS
    NHL- GO PREDATORS
    NASCAR- Chase Elliott
    MLS- LA Galaxy

I just went through the draft-a lot more Bs. I counted 3-4 As, 25 Bs. Just about all the As and Bs were position players-I think 1 B SP and 2-3 relievers with B potential. No pitchers with A potential in this draft. 1 C, 2 1B, and 1 RF with A potential though.

You do have the most recent patch that supposed to address some of the franchise issues, right? I assume so but just asking to make sure. Those numbers above aren't realistic. No A potential pitchers? That's ridiculous!

Only 3-4 A potentials in total for the whole draft? Wow! So, we have an amateur draft riddled with lower potential players. 25 B's isn't bad I guess but 3-4 A's isn't even right. I'd say the majority of top 10 picks in this years 2011 draft would be considered A potential. Heck, even some of the lower 1st-round picks you could say that. 1st-round picks would certainly fall into the A-B potential range. Maybe a couple with C potential but not many.

This doesn't make using the draft to create the 2011 draft picks a good option. I guess you could & use all the B guys as a replacement for what would be A guys. Still, this is concerning that SCEA would only implement 3-4 A potential players & not a single one of those a pitcher. Pitchers are often drafted more in the 1st-round than position players.

Yes, I have the patch. Unfortunately, the generated drafts are like that. You've had a good draft if there are 2 SP with A potential and 1-2 RP/CP. Another issue of mine is that almost all the pitchers start with D or F velocity and it doesn't progress. Same thing with the position players, all ratings start at D. Maybe 5 or 6 players will start with a C overall, and no B overalls. I'm really hoping SCEA works on the generated drafts next year

This isn't good for using the draft to create more of the 2011 draft picks. I think I'll pass on this option. I'm just gonna take what Jason did & use the Create-A-Player option to make a few more guys I want added from the draft. That looks to be the best option.

I added somewhere around 5-7 more players, if you're interested, I added them to the FA list, also. I probably should have done that before, but I was trying to save some time, so I just added them to the team's roster.

Do you know which players you added Jason? I was gonna add Daniel Norris(2nd-round pick,Blue Jays) for sure & a few others. I wanted to use the draft but that doesn't appear to be a good option. Let me know & could you post the file here to download? Thanks again!

I added Jackie Bradley Jr., Matt Purke, Aaron Westlake, Daniel Norris, Daniel Vogelbach (I used someone else's version and I didn't edit him.), Cory Spangenberg, Robert Stephenson and Joe Ross.

I also made a few various edits to other players.

It's in the roster vault under "J19v5.71 (OSFMv2OD base)". It was uploaded on June 21.

Thanks again Jason. I'm glad you added Daniel Norris. Local kid in which I watched pitch several times during his high school days. I'll take your file & run with it. BTW, did you use existing players to edit for these last few draft picks added or use the Create-A-Player option? Thanks!

                      You're welcome.

I added all of the new players on version 5.71 to the free agent 1 list.

I didn't use any existing player on the actual set to create these players. I used players from the vault, but I ended up basically recreating all of them because I completely changed their heads in most cases, faces in all cases except for Cron and Vogelbach (I think those were the only two) and that was just because I forgot to edit them, body types in some cases, attributes in all cases except for Vogelbach because I didn't edit him at all, stances/deliveries in most cases and equipment for all players except for Cron and Vogelbach.

The potential ratings matched what I would have rated them, except for Wong who is an A (I would have made him a B) and Westlake who is a C (I would have made a B). I didn't check Vogelbach, so I have no idea what his potential is.

Delayed since I was away during this past weekend.I haven't been able to update transactions and minor league rosters to what they are currently. I hope to have a basic set to start a franchise with in the next hour. In addition I will do an update with everything perfect by Friday at the latest.Currently, just doing my last test sim. Sorry for the delay, just been extremely busy lately.

*In addition to make progression work well, I had to change the positions of some guys. These are the many ones:

                            Anthony Rendon to 2b
                            Bryce Harper to CF
                            Wilmer Flores to 2B

There are others & I'll try to get a full list soon.

Just had a look at your roster set YD99-a great roster but-you really have it in for the older players with A potential-don't you?

You do end up with too many A and B overall later on, but I might have left the 25 and 26 year olds alone.I'm really glad it was done-but I'll probable end up editing Arredondo and Thompson up a little bit later.

Lol yea I had to edit them down b/c they killed progression after three seasons when they were all Top starters, relievers etc.

I'm thinking I may go in & try to recreate these guys with similar faces and lower potentials cause your right as it does screw things up for guys currently in the majors created with the player face trick.
