I've only been home for an hour or so, I'm about to get cracking in a little bit

    Edit:

Are you guys still having problems with progression? what are your A guys averaging every offseason points-wise? Anyone figure out what the peak year is because for me, Jaso keeps on progressing +5 in every category in year 1, Whilhelmsen -5, they're both the same age

I checked in with Knight, basically this is they way progression is working this yr. Prospects are gonna come in with higher OVRs, and progress less than previously.

Kinda a bummer, a guy like Starling in KC who's just a toolshed could quite possibly be a top 30 or 40 CF in OVR when he's at least 3 yrs away (maybe 5). An 18 yo with a OVR good enough to start just doesn't make sense to me.

As far as Whilhelmsen, I think that's just a factor of his pot being a very low C.

In terms of the roster, how do you wanna handle it. Are you gonna just work on faces then vault the players for me to add? Or what's your plan?

If you open the spreadsheet and start chatting in the sidebar I think we can get the work schedule cleared up.

I'll just post in the vault, I think its easier than passing the file back and forth.

Nobody has a completed file yet, that won't be till opening day 4/5. This is just for the Mariners, and the most current file I uploaded is a complete mess. For some guys there's 4 different iterations of them, some guys have ratings others don't. It's just a mess.

I have Pryor, Hicks, Kawasaki, and Erasmo in the vault, tweaked the latter two's faces a little bit more

I've played a whole season on the Mariners rosters, and Kawasaki is head and shoulders way too good. He made the all-star game. I was floored.

That makes no sense. What were his stats?

Great. Thanks for all the hard work I wish I had known about the vaults last year. I play with the Mariners, but would obviously love to have every team fully up to date before I start my franchise. Will Operation Sports put up a FINAL roster on or around opening day that has all of the teams in one easy to download vault? In other words... once everyone's Season opening final rosters are out on 4/5 which Rosters will YOU be downloading?

I'll DL them but I won't start my franchise.

I'm doing v2 with equipment edits for all 30 teams. Then v3/4/5 are stances, pitch edits, rerates etc.

I usually wait for the final version which usually takes a little over a month, but by then the Sounds of the Show file for 2012 is up so everything works out.

I see so it's good to wait a little bit to start a franchise if you want the most authentic experience. Good to know. What is the "Sounds of the Show" file you mentioned? Again this is my first time downloading from Vaults so I am unfamiliar with some of the stuff you probably think everyone is supposed to know..sorry for all the questions

Usually someone creates a huge file with mp3s for every player's walkup music. Havent poked around or asked what the deal on it is this yr, didn't seen anything on the first page.

That is f**king awesome. I found the latest Mariners vault you guys have uploaded. I'll give it some play and give you some observations on faces, stats, etc. that I see. Grew up in Seattle and have been to over 100 games at the Kingdome/Safeco so I'm down to help out a little. Thanks for the info. Keep up the great work!
