lol you're killing me Jason, mine's the one on the right, but if everyone likes Aroid's better, no sweat, something just feels a tiny bit off with it, to me it looks like the nose bridge is too thin and the face isn't wide enough, but it's still pretty good, also had to change the skin color to 3.

May need to bump Noesi's rating up a couple notches lol guy just cost me a game in Oakland. I have him coming out of the pen in my franchise and he gave up back to back jacks in the 10th to Pennington and Suzuki after League blew it in the 9th. This game can get pretty intense at times and during this first game of my franchise, I was on the edge of my seat.

I think they're both excellent. Also, I agree about the face/head being a little thin. I thought that was just the picture making it look that way.

+1 for sean, I think his Walker face is better. It's not perfect, but with some tweaks, it could be.

Does that mean Medina is starting the year in Tacoma?

                      Re: 2012 OSFM: Seattle Mariners

Been looking over the ratings for our minor league guys, the one that really caught my attention was Pimentel. I've heard anything from 25-35 homers from him if all goes well, and horrid defense and plate vision and discipline to accompany it. Right now he has a 47/40 power rating, 33/36 vision/discipline ratings, and 50/40/47/53 defensive ratings

IMO his defensive ratings should be significantly lower, possibly 10 points each. His vision should be 0, he would be a 170+ K guy even in his prime. Most importantly, his splits need to be more skewed in favor of vs RT, he cannot hit left handed pitching. Maybe boost his RT contact and power by 10 while at the same time dropping his LT contact by 10...

I just wanted to ask your opinions as fellow M's fans before I go and post this in the corrections thread, ratings suggestions aren't being taken too kindly over there right now.

I think it sounds good. Kid has a high power ceiling but needs to figure out how to not be Jose Lopez v2. He's so damn young, so I hope you're wrong about the 170+ K's in his prime... Hopefully the kid learns some patience at the dish, but I think what you propose for his ratings sound good for right now.

I downloaded the roster a few days back that you guys were working on and a different stance was given to Ackley... It's now set back to his signature stance, but it still doesn't feel right. I thought the stance given to him in that file was closer to his real life stance...

Do you guys remember which stance it was?

Probably LaRoche, legs are closer together, the one-hand swing remains a problem though.

In regards to Pimentel, I'm thinking current Mike Stanton with less walks, but that's in a perfect world scenario.

I can only hope that one day, we get a batting stance editor... I just can't find a correct stance for Ackley, and that 2-handed swing is a must for him.

You think Pimentel could potentially have Stanton-like power? I'll take it... That's a lot of bombs over that right field fence in Safeco...

some of the follow through selections are really questionable this year. Ackley finishing with one hand, A-Rod finishing with two on his normal swing but one for his sig HR... Have you hit a HR with Ackley yet? maybe that's where his two-handed finish is lol.

I hope Pimentel can turn into current Mike Stanton, no chance for prime Mike Stanton though
