I've since messed with a couple guys faces, and put in paxton's ratings but they still need some fine tuning, as do most of the pitchers.

Imo Danny Carroll is the best face, Cat is ok, franklin needs some work lol.

Saw that someone wanted Catricala ranked a "C". Fooey on that. The guy is far and away the best hitter in the system. If he was even an average defender anywhere on the field, he would be earmarked for an "A". Ask any prospect follower why Cat didn't make BA's top 100 is because they think he doesn't have a position. But the bat plays in the bigs - right now. ProspectInsiderdotcom even has Catricala ranked ahead of Nick Franklin. Legit bat.

Other than that, the lists look pretty solid. Good work guys.

As far as stances go.. I've only played a few games and even though they changed Guti's stance this year, its still off. I still think John Jaso's stance is a perfect fit for Franklin. In turn, Jaso's stance isn't any good for Jaso (lol). I can't remember but I think I use one of the generic open crouched stances with a quick bat waggle. Saunders has a good shot break camp with the team because Guti is hurt again. Word is he changed his stance again so who knows what that looks like. Haven't seen a game this spring yet. Carp's stance is set wrong again I changed that one for sure. Again, can't remember the generic stance I use. I think it used to be Trot Nixon's old stance back in '09.

Haven't changed much else yet. Not as disappointed as some in Ackley's stance. Its close. Can't wait til we get a good Iwakuma and Kawasaki. FTR, I think Kawasaki makes it to opening day
      .
I don't think Ackley's stance is terrible, it's just the one-handed follow through that kills it for me.

With a few tweaks, i think it could be a very good roster.

Anybody got a motion for Hultzen? I've got bumgarner now but its kinda hard to find crossfire guys.

For Paxton I found Lincecum to be close except for his hands glove during the windup.

Just a heads up. I downloaded Hultzen, Walker, Paxton, Iwakuma and Kawasaki out of the player vault. I just went by which ones got the most downloads thinking they would be the best. All of them besides Kawasaki REALLY sucked. Weak sauce.

                walker/paxton/hultzen are all WIPs

                  Re: 2012 OSFM: Seattle Mariners

Not sure if anybody's interested but if someone wants to work on the file tonight/tomorrow let me know and I'll upload the current file.

It's already starting to play nicely, I threw Paxton vs. the Rainiers and it felt like paxton, I'm happy with his individual pitch ratings although the H/9, K/9, etc. could use some tuning. Faces for the big 3 are gonna get done by mr franchise (at least i think so, i'll have to double check).

There's 8 open spots left, and they all depend on what how cuts are gonna turn out. These are all on the bubble guys, in no particular order

Carson Smith James Gillheeney Tyler Burgoon Andrew Carraway Phillippe Valiquette Nate Tenbrink Ambiroris Hidalgo (RHSP) Stephan Landazuri (SP Cameron Hobson Sp Daniel Paolini Mario Martinez (3B) Seon Gi Kim (RHSP) Ji-Man Choi Felipe Burin (2B) Yordi Calderon (3B) George Mieses (RHSP) Julio Morban (CF) Jake Shaffer (OF) Steve Hensley (RHSP) Denny Almonte Luis Antonio Jiminez Matt Fox Sean Henn

Carraway, Burgoon, Mieses, and Morban are probably next guys in.

Last year I used Gallardo for Paxton, they both have long arm action and an extended glove, but I think this year they included him dropping his hands. Check out Livan Hernandez and Gen 142 as well, this is how I would rank them:

                      1. Gen 142 (Good tempo and arm action)
                      2. Livan Hernandez (Almost a slightly slower version of Gen 142, but has slightly different arm action)
                      3. Gallardo (the tempo and arm action are spot on IMO, but includes dropping of the hands)

For reference, here is what gallardo and paxton have in common

                          Tai Walker - Gen 36

Danny Hultzen - generic 12 has everything but the initial hand position and rocking motion at the beginning of his delivery, the more i look at it though, there isn't a single delivery available that has the arm action hultzen has, its the same situation as league's delivery, they have the arm slot a tad too high

                          Hultzen release.png

His release is about 5.5 feet above the ground, and Hultzen is 6'3" or something

                          Edit:

Also, Brooks has Hultzen's f/x data for what I assume is the AFL, velo looks great

downloaded these rosters.forst off thanks you for your hard work.some edits i made:

Chiang-should not have contact and power where he does.hes way overrated.i think a ''b'' potential is spot on though.
Franklin-should have better contact and speed.''b''rating is right though.
T-Walker-played an rtts with these roster and tajiun was called up in 2012.his contact, and k's are wayyy to high.hes 19.hes wayy overrated.he shouldnt be matt moore.
Hultzen-prettygood.but his contact/9 is too high for me.
paxton-need a lot more love.again im my rtts he was the #5 starter in double a.huh? his overall arting should be much higher.look at his double a numbers.they are better than walkers and yet hes rated way worse.
Catricala.needs alot more contact.i think a 55/50 is fair.he has no glove though.a mr rating in the 40's is reasonable to.hes hit a couple hr's in spring trainging already.

just my .002.not trying to be rude just trying to help with what i see.thanks again for doing these guys.

When I posted those the ratings weren't done for any of them. Right now they're better but still need some work.

If i remember correctly paxton was like the 3rd worst pitcher in those rosters lol.
