aroid is doing the faces for the top 100 guys. So I haven't spent time on Walker/Hultzen/Paxton, not sure if Franklin factors in. i'll check

i uploaded the lastest file. its named "marsss"

take a look at it and let me know who all looks off, just cross reference it with the google spreadsheet i linked to last night.

I like the way Catricala, Kawasaki (except the skin tone, nothing we can really do about that), Pimentel, and Castillo turned out. (as far as the big guys go)

But if there's somebody you want changed or wanna tackle the guys w/o an "x" on the spreadsheet I'll post what i've got at the end of the night and you can work on it during the day.

P.S. let me know when you've DLed it off the vault. I don't think were supposed to be posting all willy nilly, or at least that's the impression I got from reading the main OSFM thread.

This won't make it into the first release of the rosters but what do y'all think of Cueto for the motion for Felix? or maybe Vargas?

If you don't mind a slightly lower arm slot, Morrow is the closest, theres also cliff lee

OK I tweaked Erasmo's face and did Forrest Snow, do you mind if I post them in the vault or should I just hold on to them until further notice?

If you DL the roster file and put em in it, then upload the new roster I'll work off that.

                  MARINERS minors v 1.2

couple things, Erasmo Ramirez was hitting 95 consistently when up in the zone, can he throw that hard IRL?

SSS, but I got Snow's pitch ratings and velo from Brooks, he has a ton of movement on his fastball, its in second place in the entire MLB by only a fraction of an inch

No he'll touch 95 but he sits low 90's and the ball comes out of his hand as straight as in arrow.

the forrest snow face is legit!!! Nice work, instead of the running fastball i wanna give him a sinker. Thats what scouting reports have him down for, and the small sample isn't enough for me to think that the scouting reports are wrong.

I didn't care for any of the hultzen motions but I like Ohlendorf a bit, low 3/4, good pacing, but it doesn't have him throwing across his body. or how bout Niese?

Other than bumgarner, andrew miller, slowey, and jered weaver I cant think of any other guys that do

Big bump, how are the rosters coming along, Run?

Couple Q's I had, how are you handling vision and discipline ratings for guys like Pimentel, Castillo, etc? I don't know if you've updated the ratings, but personally I feel guys like these should have vision ratings in the 'teens, they have ridiculously high K% for being in the low level minors, while guys like Triunfel should have a high vision rating and low discipline rating

In knights thread he put up spreadsheets for each potential. I've been matching them up accordingly, sliding up and down for each rating based on how the player actually profiles. For older players in the high minors I ballpark the MLE's I think it's like 75% from AAA to MLB level. (It's not perfect but it spits out decent numbers, once were done with the file we should run a couple 5 yr simulations and check to make sure the stats and ratings come out clean)

I need to go back through every player to make sure I've been accurate, but I've also put an emphasis on LHP/RHP splits for positional players. (Pimentel is a great example, kid mashes RHP but looks stupid vs. LHP)

I think my ratings on Catricala have been the best but i'll have to double check, if you or apostle wanna take the file for ratings I'll post my most updated file tonight.

good point here, I posted a Pimentel in the vault with ~35 LH contact and i believe ~55 RH contact with very low vision; I've been randomly doing faces for players, not just the mariners org, and I believe Knight just posted something about doing your own ratings and faces for the top 100

ugh PS3 froze up as I was trying to access the roster vault, so i manualy turned it off. when i went to turn it on it gave me some bs about corrupted files. smh

if anybody wants to do some editing just use seanjeezy's file on in the vault that had the Forrest Snow face. I'll sort it out in the next couple days, just ticked that the file's busted.

Just uploaded a Vinnie Catricala to the player vault that I'm pretty proud of. Give it a look. My tag is seizethecarp_
I think its the only one in the vault (main reason I uploaded it).
