knight, can we get a % update? i'm living and dying with this roster set, can't wait, so excited. i'm hoping we're on the cusp of 100%... hate to make these posts, but i absolutely love your roster set and would relaly like to know where you are progress wise. thanks!

First off, thank you for the countless hours you guys put in! It is awesome what everyone does here on the community! Just had a question as searching through this thread I couldn't find any answer. Does the OSFM also include edits to pitchers pitches or is that more of a patch thing or doesn't that get changed really at all? Thank you!

Does the OSFM also include edits to pitchers pitches or is that more of a patch thing or doesn't that get changed really at all? Thank you!

Hmm, if PadresFan is roaming this thread, perhaps you already opened the roster file for the Padres, but things are already set up for the faces I believe (I hope it is). Like I said to GreatNorthern, I did get carried away on some players and did work on their faces, so you're welcome to correct/perfect them if you want.

I don't remember exactly (they're the ones without the asterisks on the right side on the spreadsheet), but I know for sure I tried my hand on Austin Hedges, Joe Ross, Keyvius Sampson, Rymer Liriano, and Yasmani Grandal, and a few other minor league players on the lower end of the potential spectrum.

I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

Edit: Perhaps the head scale might be off, I did work from two different PS3s and two different TVs.

I believe Throwback is going to do the faces....correct?
I kind of mixed that up a bit....sorry

I will check out the roster tomorrow. Still in Peoria catching some games. Saw a lot of the minor leaguers while there.

I'm sorry if someone's answered this......in regards to this roster will a workaround be required to keep lineups, rotations, intact if you skip spring training? In the past that's been the case. Btw, thanks to all the people putting in the hard work to make this roster available to the rest of us

Yes...same as last year.
Don't make the CPU have to make any roster(sending down players) decision and they won't change. Otherwise....use 30 team control....lineups to manual and set them on day 1 of the regular season. They won't change after that.

Have you heard from MauerMorneau? I've PM'd him on OS and on PS to see what the status of the faces is and I haven't heard anything. I was hoping maybe you had.

Authentic will be in charge of that.
But...he's either a Cub or not a Cub on Opening Day...and that will dictate where he is.

I've been helping therunandshoot with the mariner's OSFM, and I just ran a couple of test sims where a couple of players were gaining 2-3 points in control every year. I know in years past that control usually stays static, and that's why its set at MLB levels, is this supposed to be more common occurrence this year? this is with auto training by the way.

I know R&S was also expressing concern about the lack of yearly progression - is 5 points the maximum per year, and how many points does it take in each category to move up in OVR?

OVR? I don't know. I don't even look at it to tell you the truth. It's a worthless rating IMO and misleading.

As far as control...that's always been the case...it's the only individual pitch rating that moves(always was regardless of training)

I seem to remember some Cubs fans saying the same thing about Cespedes

He'll probably be a free agent in the set unless he officially signs before the rosters come out.

Either way he'll be in the set so you can add him yourself if he isn't already on the squad.

i originally stumbled on this site a few years ago looking for a way to get an updated roster for NFL 2k5..

I had no idea that my beloved MLB The Show had a Full Minors roster until last year. it was clearly my best discovery since i first had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel.

Thanks for all the work y'all, as a prospect enthusiast I can't tell you how awesome it is having everyone when i play my franchise. I wasn't going to wait for it, but then realized I was kidding myself lol

No pitch edits on the initial release. Hopefully someone picks up the ball and runs with it.

ie.

INFO-complete
RATINGS-in progress
FACES-to be done by someone else
STANCES-complete
EQUIP-in progress...
(this is a for instance....if you are doing something but haven't started...just signify that ...thanks..)

I just want to line up the last remaining aspects if need be.
