    Re: 2012 OSFM: Baltimore Orioles

He's Zach Britton's older brother, he'll be 26 in May.

He wouldn't be in the top 30 (maybe even 40) Orioles prospects.

I'm not really sure what you could consider him. He is on the bowie roster. He had one of the highest Avg. in the minors from our players. Thats about all i know of him to be honest. .297 BA .445 SLG.

Sounds like an org player, probably throw him in after the prospects are done if there's still room to round out the roster.

He's playing 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF and RF this spring (sorry for the late response).

Here is a pretty good scouting report on Dylan Bundy. I know you have already created him, but I figured it can't hurt.

Orioles-Nation has been a really helpful site.

Trying to figure out what potentials to give the two J-League imports, Chen and Wada... obviously Chen has to be higher, 5 years younger and already a more dominant pitcher (and a lefty).. thoughts?

Just watched a video of Dylan Bundy throwing a bullpen in Spring. Wow. He should be the best pitcher on this team very soon.

Chen will be a solid B potential pitcher. He could even develop even better if worked right. Wada will be a C if a starter or could possibly be a low b if worked in Relief still probably a C pitcher with a little upside. Dylan will be our future Ace for sure. Can probably be Strasburg worthy. I look to see him in the bigs by the time he is 20 or 21.

Also I am going through all the players they have listed in O's nation too. I've seen a good bit of them I like. What did you make L.J. Hoes? He seems like he could be a B potential left fielder.

After looking through all the o's nation players we might have more potential then we realize lol but its all on how they develop. I see some good B pitchers and possibly another 1 potential lefty. Position wise though it seems a little thin to me. Maybe a couple b's but mostly c's and d's. A few catchers seemed good. and we have a potential DH lol.

I made Hoes a B. He's a solid hitter, good approach, sprays line drives and started developing a little more power last year - that tells me he's learning his swing. I think he's a good bet to move up this year and contribute. If he could have stuck at 2B his value would be higher.

                        Hoes prior to the draft:

He's listed at 6'1", but doesn't look more than 5'10" or so.

Thanks for the advice on the two pitchers. You've given the grades I'd put down for both.

Lol don't get your hopes up, our minor league system is thinner than an anorexic chick.

Oh trust me I know that one haha. The DH was a first round pick by us. seems our organization has made some bad choices and a lot of them. Hopefully that will start to turn around though.

Hobgood isn't even in the BA O's Top 30, which I find a bit ridiculous. He's still a better prospect than any starting pitcher not named Bundy or Bridwell - and he's still more advanced than the latter right now.

I would like to see Hobgood on the OSFM Roster. He is struggling right now but is still a decent enough prospect.
