Well, everyone except one person who has replied to this thread, probably a relative , agrees that he has some growing up to do at the very least. I think that pretty much sums up the opinion of the sports fan world.

There's no reasoning with people who enjoy judging others based on preconceived notions.

An excuse is defined as a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense.

I mean saying he blew the kiss at the opposing player because they had thrown at him earlier or because they stared him down and yelled something sure sounds like an excuse to me.

I don't enjoy judging him, I just call it how I see it. I wish he wasn't a douche, but he is. I would definately prefer one of the top up prospects to come through baseball was a good guy, but it just isn't the case with Harper.

It's not just Harper. I work in an industry where we hire a ton of just out of high-school and college kids. An entitlement attitude is prevalent amongst most of the post-1990ers that I've come across. He isn't special in that regard. I hate when we hold athletes to a higher standard like this as if they aren't real people.

Unless you're friends with Harper, or are related to him, just because you've "followed" him for years doesn't make you some sort of expert or insider into how his perceived personality is or isn't.

You're as disgusting as the people who blindly hate him with your blind devotion to him. It's people like you who make Harper believe that he's god's gift to baseball before ever even stepping into the box at the MLB level.

Wow. I didn't realize this was going to get so heated when I made a lighthearted, albeit mean-spirited, comment about Bryce Harper.
